Children are the makers of the future of the nation and the aspired hope that we aspire to in achieving the great goals in the future.Given the importance of childhood, caring for it and surrounding it with guarantees to protect its rights is an important human moral principle, and it is also a national duty that must be fulfilled. He exerted precious and precious things to achieve it, but the tangible reality contradicts that, and the main objective of this study is to highlight the foundations and measures that will achieve substantive and procedural criminal protection for the victim child. The importance of this study is highlighted in that it deals with explanation and detail in protecting the child from the danger of assault with the necessary measures and procedures stipulated by the law. Therefore, the researcher relied in this study on the descriptive, analytical, and inductive approach by observing websites, books, research studies, and the library approach to know the procedures Criminal protection of the victim child, and after collecting the data, it will be analyzed to produce comprehensive and innovative research results. One of the results of this study is that the criminal protection of the child is a legal system adopted by the national or international criminal law to ensure the protection of the child and secure his safety and protect him from assaulting his rights. However, some of them came devoid of any regulation of contemporary crimes that appeared with the technological development at the present time, while the various legislations focused on providing some forms of procedural criminal protection, whether before or after the trial.
