Abstract
The mystical (Sufi) approach of education is an important factor in the theory of the prophetic method of Imam cAbd al-Salam Yasin and this factor is noticed in the cognitive levels of Imam Yasin thought and practices. The first level is theoretical followed the abandonment of his spiritual guide (Murshid Sufi) and mystical culture which isolated him from the society and politics, but this philosophical background level was abandoned by Imam Yassine although he dedicated one of his major works to defy it from the fanatic Salafi and attempt to find the roots of the mystical experience in Quran and Sunnah. The second level is shown in Imam Yassine activities as the founder of Adl & Ihsan association. There he tried to dismantle the mystical experience from its philosophical burdens and focus more on mystical instructions of education and ethics and his experience as a leader and teacher has been matured and by the time Sunnah become the criteria of mystical practices. Imam Yassine called in his writings all Muslims not to be afraid of mystical terms and conceptions, at the same time to be aware of wrong mystical approach which, historically, gave a passive impression about Sufism.
