dc.description.abstract | A successful marriage is the expectation of every married couple because a successful marriage contributes to the well-being and stability of marriage, family, and society. However, the divorce rate among Malay couples has continued to rise in recent years. This situation needs to consider. Therefore, the objective of this research was to discover the meaning and experience of successful marriage from the perspective of Malay couples and to identify the factors of successful marriage among Malay couples. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenology approach. A semi-structured interview was used to collect data from three couples. The results highlighted: i) meaning of successful marriage, ii) successful marriages experience among Malay couples, and iii) factors of a successful marriage. The implication and recommendations for future study are also included. | en_US |
