Among the verses that are highly dependent on are verses 3 and 129 of SËrah Ón-NisÉ’. Accordingly, the different meanings of justice in both verses have highlighted the importance of comprehending the concept of justice in polygamy in the context of these verses. Some areas to be discussed are the interconnected connotations of the dichotomy of justice in this field and the contextualized conditions of polygamy which facilitate its permissibility. Islamic polygamy is also critically examined with respect to growing challenges and misconceptions regarding its permissibility and feasibility.
