Therefore, the purpose of this research was conducted to examine the understanding and skills of Socratic Methods approach, determining significant differences between knowledge and skills in Socratic approach by gender, age, academic background and locations, and examine the relations between understanding and skills of socratic methods among Islamic Education teachers. The methods used was survey design which includes giving questionnaires to 180 Islamic Education Teachers in a district in Selangor. The result from descriptive analysis shows that the mean for both understanding and skills is high among Islamic education teachers. The result from inference analysis shows that there is no significant differences between understanding and skills by gender, age, academic background and location among Islamic education teachers. It also shows that there is an average relation between understanding and skills among Islamic Education teachers.
