Hence, it should, therefore, start to consider addressing their elders' needs based on the long-term care concept as other aging nations did. This concept puts forth the idea of assistance for dependent elders in their daily routines. Social Welfare Department of Malaysia, the pioneer of Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, plays a key role in offering public long-term care services in the country. Many facilities and services have been organized by the department to address the elder's needs and caregiving which are Rumah Seri Kenangan, Rumah Ehsan, Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas, and Desa Bina Diri. Using exponential smoothing model approach,this paper forecasts the usage of the facilitiesin relation to the growing elderly population in the country.
