Focus should be given to women to empower the community to build a productive and prosperous society, as well as children, youth and the elderly. The same goes for waqf projects that aim at sustainable community development. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to see how existing waqf projects contribute in efforts to develop women in Malaysia. The study conducted was a qualitative study and data were obtained through document analysis. The results of the study found that waqf has benefited women in various aspects, including education, health, economy and welfare.
