The Jumhouria Bank, is identified as the biggest commercial bank in the country and it offer the banking products through Islamic perspectives. Based on this, the industry is increasing gradually. On the other hand, the sustenance from customers who mandate shari’ah banking products. This study expresses the current development of the new industry in Libya. It climaxes the progression and the strategies take on by the government to reinforce the regulatory framework of Libya Islamic Banking system. Furthermore, it focusses some of the barriers faced by the authorities. This study contacted as content analysis. Articles, reference books and professional writings on the topic are used as source of analysis. The finding of this study indicates that Islamic Banking industry has encouraging future in Libya.
