The ionic conductivity and a.c. conduction mechanism of the SPE was analysed using electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The highest ionic conductivity of (4.51±0.10) × 10-4 Scm-1 was achieved for film containing 12 wt.% of NH4NO3. The temperature dependence of exponent s was observed to be almost independent of temperature.
