In a study conducted in the Sultanate of Oman, on 246 patients during the medical treatment stage at Al-Misra Hospital; revealed that 78% of the sample had relapse more than twice. Therefore, this study aimed to diagnose the role of psychological stress, and the role of social isolation in the relapse of addicts during the recovery period. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used. The study community were: The Recovery Homes Center, the Life Society and the Special Sunrise MedicalCenter. The sample was 10 male addicts over the age of (20- 50) years chosen by the intentional method at the recovery period. Three measures were applied: the measure of psychological stress; which included five factors (personal, health, economic, financial, family, employment). The measure of social isolation; including three factors (self-feelings, family relationships, social relations). The relapse measure included eight factors: (Gesture and real estate hints, control of abuse, peer pressure, pleasant feelings, unpleasant feelings, relationship disorders, family problems, mental and physical pains and debility).
