As the main references of fiqh, the Qur'an and Hadith certainly need to be interpreted in a comprehensive and integrative manner, through a contextual approach and epistemology. Whether we realize it or not, the fiqh that we consume does not range far from medieval packaged fiqh, where most of the fiqh products were created by male scholars. So, it is very logical and necessary if these classical fiqh thoughts are placed in a general configuration and context when these fiqh thoughts are produced on the one hand and in a particular epistemological context on the other.
