This study aims to (1) analyze two selected Quran memorization quiz applications available on the Play Store or App Store, namely Retain Quran and Cinta Quran, (2) examine public reviews and user feedback on these applications and (3) provide insights for potential improvements and future research. The research employs a qualitative approach comprising three main techniques: (1) direct observation of selected applications to assess functionality, design, and effectiveness in enhancing memorization; (2) comparison of key features, such as quiz question variety and interactive elements; and (3) analysis of user reviews to gain insights from actual user experiences. Findings from this study highlight the potential of digital tools in modernizing traditional Quran memorization methods through quiz mobile application. This study concludes that quiz-based mobile applications are effective in enhancing Quran memorization.
