This phenomenon manifests in Arabic words in various texts such as Qur’an, hadith, and poetry. The main objective of this research is to explain the nature of this linguistic phenomenon and its multiple reasons whether due to the speakers themselves or arising from the circumstances surrounding them such as environment, society, and culture. The research also explains the tribes who had this phenomenon and the reason of its appearance among them. The research selected a group of words from Qur’an and hadiths in which this linguistic phenomenon occurred and subjected these words to a linguistic and semantic analysis based on two basic approaches: descriptive approach and analytical approach.
