The study was undertaken through the critical readings of scholarly publications and other published resources pertinent to the topic. This paper discusses the contributions made by the Islamic scholars in different sectors of science which may not be in the public sphere. Such contributions include a better understanding of nature, the world, and the universe. The contributions made by the Muslim scholars towards science are often considered unusual as it is perceived that Science originated from Ancient Greek. This paper serves to spread a greater awareness on the fact that Science is highly based on Islam and it has led to the modernisation as well as the advancement of the world.
