There are three forms of perfectionism, which are socially prescribed perfectionists, self-oriented perfectionists and other-oriented perfectionists, explained by their Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale. Coping skills allow us to handle situations well and to feel mentally and physically better, which can impair our ability to do our best. There are two major forms of philosophy of coping skills that are problem-based coping and emotion-based coping. This study is a cross-sectional study to assess perfectionism in Kolej GENIUS Insan, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Nilai, Negeri Sembilan with coping skills for Muslim gifted and talented students. The first questionnaire is Perfectionism Self-Assesment and Coping Skills Questionnaire. Using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences ( SPSS ) version 20-32bit, the data will be analysed.
