This study shows that the Islamic work ethic among santri entrepreneurs has an important value as a medium for forming a positive mentality for business people. The Islamic work ethic also encourages the creation of competent business people in their fields. In addition, the religious knowledge possessed by Yogyakarta santri entrepreneurs has an influence in shaping the work ethic of the santri in Yogyakarta. Knowledge of santri entrepreneur training is obtained through two models, namely through teaching in Islamic boarding schools, and through interaction between santri entrepreneurs.
