The Malaysian Islamic Association for the Blind (PERTIS) first published it in 1997. After a period of use, issues of inconsistency between the Braille Quran text and the printed Quran text used by the typical population emerged. One of the focus areas of inconsistency was in the aspect of Rasm. In 2022, JAKIM, in collaboration with KDN, PERTIS, and USIM, attempted to address this issue by publishing a new Braille Quran with various improvements and modifications, including from the perspective of Rasm. This study aims to examine the text of the Braille Quran in Malaysia from the aspect of Rasm and identify its status. The method of document analysis is applied in this qualitative study. The findings indicate that the features of the Uthmani script have been implemented appropriately in the Braille writing.
