In current practice, shariah principles in shariah-compliant hospitals do not well imply the divine rules concerning ibadah (worship), pharmaceuticals, halalan toyyiban foods and healthcare services. Therefore, this study focuses on the problems that arise regarding the issue of daruriyyat, hajiyyat and tahsiniyyat aspects and evaluate the elements of maqasid shariah in healthcare management. This article also gives an overview of the level of application in daruriyyat, hajiyyat and tahsiniyyat aspects applied in hospital in Malaysia, identify elements of maqasid shariah in healthcare services and implementing the concept of shariah compliant hospital by fulfilling the aspect of spiritual development. This study conducts qualitative approaches based on library research and quantitative research based on the distribution of survey forms in Hospital Islam Az-Zahra, Bangi, KPJ Specialist Hospital Kajang and Hospital Aurelius, Nilai.
