BCM is a managerial activity that identifies potential impacts to the organization caused by the threats. However, BCM is only gets the attention when it is demanded by the regulatory compliance or the stakeholders or customers. The implementation of BCM not only involves the information technology (IT) department, but also the business areas that use the IT services.
