The research attempts to identify and analyse the needs of a sample of Arabic-speaking learners from the Islamic Science University of Malaysia and the International Islamic University Malaysia in order to limit their learning needs. Based on the sample, a model language module had been formulated, and the research will present the proposed model of the linguistic units through its application in the teaching of writing skills for non-Arabic speakers.
