Many of them limited their focus to reading or reciting the Holy Qur’an rather than contemplating it and understanding its meanings and instructions. Others even went further than that by not complying with its commands. Due to this, Muslims weakened and missed out on the civilizing process and leadership. Allah (swt) descended the Qur’an for us to consider it with care and act accordingly. But, unfortunately, many Muslims limited their study of the Qur’an to research and working purposes. One may recite the Holy Qur’an perfectly but fails to comply with its teachings. This paper is concerned with the issue of contemplating the Holy Qur’an. It aims at expounding the concept at both lexical and technical levels. It also explores the Prophetic method to meditate on the Qur’an. It presents the advantages and fruits of meditation on the Qur’an and underlines its status in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. It analyzes, as well, the stages of meditation and the appropriate way to recite the Qur’an with contemplation and influence.otherQuranic Study In The Light Of The Qur'aan And Sunnahالتدبر القرآني في ضوء الكتاب والسنةArticle224211
