The existence of modern software and technological advancements should be embraced as a mean to improve and enhance the comprehension of students in their studies especially regarding Islamic education. This research should explore the potential of using a courseware in teaching the subject of Comparative Religion. The objectives that this research aims to achieve are; to identify the existing methods that are used by educators to teach Comparative Religion; to examine the students’ understanding of the subject of Comparative Religion; to identify the acceptance of students of using courseware as a teaching aid in learning Comparative Religion. The data is collected using the five scale likert questionnaire then the scores are analysed to obtain a reading. The questionnaires are distributed among Malaysian university students that enrol in the subject ofComparative Religion. The result shows a high level of agreement among the respondents that using Comparative Religion courseware is useful to aid in learning the subject thus supports the idea of developing a prototype of the subject.
