Due to the low level of students, the lack of teaching objectives on the achievement side, and the recommendations for the need to develop the teaching of social studies in the Sultanate of Oman. The researcher choses a random sample of the tenth-grade students, divided into two groups: control and experimental of (30) students each. The researcher prepared a list of skills needed to learn social studies curricula, a teacher's guide according of the cooperative collaborative learning strategy, and a measurement of trends towards social studies. After conducting the survey and verifying the validity and stability of the research tools, the fourth and fifth units of the book were taught according to "Kreider" strategy, then the two groups were tested. The findings revealed that "Kreider" strategy has great effectiveness and influence in teaching, where there were statistically significant differences in the achievement and skills of learning social studies for the experimental group.
