Using a bibliometric approach, we collected 542 articles published between 2001 to 2021 from journals indexed in the Scopus database. RStudio and Microsoft Excel were used to analyse the data. It was found that Malaysia has been the top country that produces halal research articles, and the Journal of Islamic Marketing has the highest publications among the top journals.
