Inevitably, this has also changed the way people work in order to sustain themselves. Motivation is the key factor that influences people to do better by initiating action into achieving goal(s), resulting in greater performance. This paper presents a research on the motivation factors of quantity surveyors in different types of organisations. Seventy one questionnaires were received and analysed statistically using Kruskal-Wallis. The results suggest that the motivation factors of quantity surveyors in the construction industry do not differ based on the different types of organisations.
