This study uses a normative juridical approach, research specifications are qualitative. The data presentation method is presented in the form of “narrative text” and “data matrix”. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Patient Safety Program in the emergency department of the Margono Soekarjo Regional Hospital, Purwokerto has not been implemented optimally. This can be proven by almost all Hospital Patient Safety Standards cannot be implemented effectively and the factors which affect this, namely the attitude, motivation and communication of health workers are low.en-USPatient safety program, emergency installation, hospitalArticle110152
