Scientific studies have revealed that a large percentage of Malaysian society suffers from psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, stress, schizophrenia and others, which is the biggest health problem among Malaysians after heart disease. The aim of this study is to explain the reasons for the prevalence of these psychological illnesses and to analyse the prevention methods, approaches and treatment of psychological illnesses according to Shariah scholars and then to show a therapeutic and preventive approach to psychological illnesses according to Shariah, using the inductive and analytical approach. The study concluded that psychiatrists have not clarified the exact causes of mental illness, but they suggested that they are the result of genetic, biological, environmental and psychological factors. Among the reasons mentioned by Shariah scholars are love of the world, committing sins, distance from Allah S.W.T., ignorance of religion, isolation, family and environment. The therapeutic and preventive model for contemporary psychological illnesses in Malaysia consists of the following methods such as seeking Islamic knowledge, belief in Allah S.W.T and the Last Day, patience and striving for reward, good deeds, good company, reading the Quran, reflecting on it and acting upon it (the Quran), remembrance and gratitude to Allah S.W.T., prayings on the Messenger of Allah S.W.T., supplication, treatment with legal ruqyah and psychological medicine, striving to eliminate the causes that cause sorrow and reaching the causes that cause joy. There are studies and testimonies from psychiatrists that confirm these methods and prove their effectiveness in preventing and treating mental illness. The study also contains important recommendations for the parties concerned in this matter.

Hadith serves as a vital source of guidance for Muslims, alongside the Quran. It refers to the narration about the life of Prophet Muhammad, including his sayings, actions, tacit approval, and descriptions of his physical features and moral characteristics. The importance of hadith in current era could be seen in the rapid sharing of hadith in the social media. While social media offers an accessible medium for the spread of Islamic teachings, it has also become a space where hadith can be misrepresented or falsified for various reasons, including political, theological, or personal gains. Therefore, this study examines the factors contributing to the misuse of hadith on social media, with a particular focus on YouTube. It was chosen due to its wide usage of users on long duration video learning and gaining knowledge or information which is convenient and still relevant despite of any new platform developed today such as TikTok which focusing only on 15 seconds to 10 minutes video contents. As a qualitative study, this study applies content analysis by analyzing selected documents from library research and video data in YouTube which investigates the factors behind the misuse of hadith. The outcomes highlight the implications of this issue and emphasize the need for further scholarly attention to ensure the preservation of authentic hadith teachings in the new media age.

Agama Islam telah datang menerangi di Kepulauan Tanah Melayu ini semenjak dari abad ke 16 Masihi lagi. Perkembangan Agama Islam yang begitu pantas ini berjaya melahirkan ramai ilmuan dan cendiakawan yang hebat khususnya di tanah Pattani. Ini dapat disaksikan pada Abad ke 17 Masihi di mana di zaman inilah lahir ramai ulama dari kepulauan nusantara ini, antaranya tokoh yang amat terkenal iaitu Syeikh Daud Al-Fatani dan Syeikh Abdullah bin Idris Bendam Badam dan lain-lain. Kelahiran ini bukan sahaja melahirkan tokoh yang terkenal malah kitab-kitab rujukan yang masih segar sehingga zaman moden ini. Antara kitab yang masih digunakan bagi Syeikh Abdullah bin Idris Bendam Badam ialah Kitab Kitab Risalah Tazkirah Al-Guflah Fi Bayan Asrar As-Solat. Kitab ini bukan sahaja menjadi bahan rujukan bahkan dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran utama di beberapa institusi pondok yang masih wujud sehingga sekarang. Kitab ini sebagai asas pembelajaran mereka tentang solat, Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk mengenal pasti dan menganalisis kedudukan hadith yang terkandung di dalamnya. Justeru kertas kerja ini akan cuba memberikan pendedahan tentang kedudukan serta kajian hadith yang dilakukan terhadap kitab ini yang mana di dalamnya terkandung hadis yang sahih, hasan, dhaif dan lain-lain. Kajian ini juga akan dapat memberikan pendedahan umum tentang pengarang serta kitabnya. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah berbentuk penyelidikan perpustakaan. Hasil kajian ini dapat membantu masyarakat dalam memberikan pendedahan tentang ilmu hadith, kedudukannya serta penggunaannya dalam kitab ini.

The Qur'an contains almost braches of knowledge and courses or fields of studies. It also covers every aspects of life. Obviously, it is stated in the Qur'an that there are three different types of admission to it. The three types of human beings to comprise; the believers who believe in all its contents, the infidels who absolutely in rejecting and denying the truth and opposing the Qur'an and its message, as well as the hypocrites who use the Qur'an and twist it to suit and justify their fraud. The need to understand the essence of each group according to the perspective of the Qur'an is very important. Hence, the study of the unbelievers is done to understand the true nature of this group. This study attempts to extract the pattern of extraction for the Baar word for unbelieving people which involves the entire verse in the Qur'an. This research is a qualitative study using summative content analysis method. Findings show that, the Baar sentence for the human category does not tell us about; (i) the attributes of this group, (ii) the factors that cause the rejection of the Qur'an, and (iii) the rewards that Allah has provided and reserved for this group in the world or the hereafter. This study examines the credibility of hadith(Islam’s prophetic tradition) -based information on web pages. It focuses on the utilization, concerns, perceptions and opinions of a majority of Muslim scholars and academicians concerning the credibility of hadith available on websites. The interesting finding of this study is that the majority of the participants lack trust and confidence in the hadith found on websites. They agreed that reliable criteria are needed to ensure that the hadith information found on websites is accurate and reliable. This study suggests important criteria for ascertaining the credibility of hadith information such as verifying its authenticity, determining the reliability of the web host, proper citation of the primary sources and support from hadith scholars.

Due to Prophetic medication intersects with the realm of modern medicine, offering a complementary approach to healthcare. Many individuals seek prophetic remedies alongside conventional medical treatments, and there is an emerging interest in researching the potential benefits of these practices. This paper aims to discuss about the diverse dimensions of prophetic medication, shedding light on its some significant categories which are the ethics, preventive, curative and the psychological and spiritual medication.

As humans, we tend to commit mistakes while dealing with people in our daily life, especially by using inappropriate communication and thus can compromise our rapport and relationship with others. It is undeniable that excellent human interactions will require effective communication as humans need to inform, express feelings, imagine, influence, and meet social expectations on a daily basis. Therefore, this article aims to investigate effective communication in human interactions based on the phrase of “Qaulan Sadidan” in the Quran. The phrase was revealed twice in two places: Surah al-Nisa’ verse 9 and Surah al-Ahzab, verse 70. In terms of understanding exegesis of the Quranic verses, the researchers select books from five medieval and contemporary scholars namely Tafsir al-Jalalayn by Jalaluddin al-Suyuti, Tafsir al-Quran al-‘Adzim by Ibn Kathir, Jami’ al-Bayan fi Ta’wil al-Quran by Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, Safwat al-Tafasir by Muhammad Ali al-Sabuni and Al-Kashshaf ‘an Haqa’iq Ghawamidh al-Tanzil by al-Zamakhshari. The researchers then extend the understanding of those verses to study the correlation of “Qaulan Sadidan” with effective communication in the context of human interactions. This study adopts inductive and analytical study where two Quranic verses from Surah al-Nisa’ and Surah al-Ahzab will be used and analysed to explore the deep and detailed meaning of the “Qaulan Sadidan” before analysing the correlation of “Qaulan Sadidan” with effective communication. It is obtained that the opinions of the Muslim scholars vary in terms of describing the meaning of “Qaulan Sadidan” and “Qaulan Sadidan” with effective communication can be adopted by individuals in their daily life interactions. Furthermore, it also can be concluded from both verses that by using Qaulan Sadidan in communication, Muslims will achieve a great attainment or “fawz ‘adzim” from Allah. These important findings eventually lead to the formation of a conceptual framework for effective communication based on those two Quranic verses.

The prevalence of autism has been steadily increasing globally over the past decade. Despite this trend, access to Quranic education for autistic children remains an often-overlooked aspect. While significant efforts are dedicated to educating neurotypical individuals, children with autism frequently encounter barriers that hinder their ability to receive adequate religious education. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to analyse the existing Quranic education methods in Malaysia and evaluate their suitability for autistic children. The analysis encompasses both formal and informal institutions to provide a comprehensive understanding of available approaches. Findings indicate that while various Quranic teaching methods are implemented across Malaysia, not all are appropriate for autistic children. The study underscores the need for further research and adaptation of Quranic education to accommodate the unique learning needs of autistic children. Ensuring their inclusion in religious education is crucial for their spiritual development and participation in religious practices, particularly in Quranic learning.

The advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized various fields, including religious studies, where it offers new methodologies for studying and analysing religious texts, such as Hadith. Hadith, which are the recorded sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, serve as crucial sources for Islamic jurisprudence and ethics. However, the integration of AI in Hadith studies raises significant ethical concerns that scholars must address to ensure respectful and accurate engagement with these sacred texts. Using analytical method, this study aims to highlights on some ethical guidelines for the use of AI in Hadith studies to ensure the responsible and respectful application of artificial intelligence in the field of Hadith. The result of study shows that, it is essential to emphasize the importance of human oversight and critical thinking in conjunction with AI technologies to avoid misinterpretations or misrepresentations of Hadith texts.

Human beings with power of senses (Ḥawās) for the purpose of feeling through seeing, touching, smelling, hearing and tasting with the aids of major organs of man, ranging from eye, hand, nose, ear and tongue or mouth. It is with this power of sense that human beings are raised in status and position above all other animals.. However, Qur’ān addresses its significance in relation to human beings and building of their characters. Sūratul-Baqarah is one of the chapters of the Qur’ān that discusses that. Out of these senses; hearings and sights or visual and audio are very significant that are worthy of study in this paper. It suggests that, apart from old age that can cause damage to the brain, wrong characters to include rebellion to instructions of Allah usually lead to its dysfunction. According to the SūratulBaqarah, the combination of the two sensitive organs of hearing and seeing helps greatly in grasp knowledge and characters building. Conclusively, Sūratul-Baqarah plays substantive role in building human characters. As the global population ages, mental health challenges among older adults are becoming increasingly prevalent. Many elderly individuals experience issues such as loneliness, depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline, which can significantly affect their overall well-being. In this context, religion—particularly Islam—offers valuable resources for emotional and psychological support. This article explores the importance of integrating Islamic perspectives into mental health services, suggesting that incorporating spiritual values can enhance the effectiveness and acceptance of mental health interventions among Muslim elderly. Finally, the article addresses key barriers to providing effective Islamic mental health services, such as stigma, lack of culturally trained professionals, and limited awareness within both healthcare and religious communities. By reviewing relevant literature and drawing on religious sources, this study highlights the potential of Islam to serve as a supportive framework for improving mental health outcomes in later life. The findings suggest that mental health strategies that align with Islamic values can help create more inclusive and compassionate care for the aging Muslim population, while also addressing systemic gaps in current mental health service delivery.

Interest of student is very Significant in open and distance learning (ODL) education because of its profound influence on pedagogical implications. Extensive research has been conducted on the interest of science students in ODL during the post-pandemic period. However, understanding religious students’ interests holds particular significance because of their unique beliefs, values, and needs. Therefore, a case study was conducted to investigate the interest of religious students in online education and identify the factors influencing their interest. A total of 123 undergraduate students from the Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies at the Islamic Science University of Malaysia participated in this study. All of them are third- and fourth-year students with experience in online learning. Data were collected using a structured Google form and analysed using appropriate statistical methods to gain insights into the participants’ interests and opinions. The results revealed that 85.4% of students had a positive attitude toward online learning, whereas 14.6% had an unfavourable attitude. Additionally, 73.2% preferred traditional learning, while 26.8% preferred online learning. Furthermore, 44.7% believed that online learning provided the same quality as traditional education, whereas 55.3% disagreed. These findings have significant implications for the development and implementation of future online learning strategies in Islamic education.

Selain daripada kitab-kitab tafsir yang muktabar seperti tafsir al-Tabari, Ibn Kathir, Tafsir fi Zilal al-Quran dan lain-lain, terdapat juga tafsir yang ditulis oleh para sarjana dan ilmuan di alam Melayu, antaranya ialah Tafsir Marbawi dan Tafsir surah Yasin Uthman bin Syahabudin. Kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti metodologi penulisan kitab tersebut dengan cara meneliti bentuk atau kaedah penulisannya. Hasilnya ialah penulis mendapati penyusunan tafsir al-Quran al-Marbawi ini dapat dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian iaitu bahagian pendahuluan dan bahagian tafsiran ayat. Bahagian ini dimulai dengan lafaz " يهنملسرحا مب " pada bahagian atas muka surat diikuti kata-kata aluan sebagai pendahuluan pada perenggan pertama. Pada halaman berikutnya pula dinyatakan kaedah memakai tafsir tersebut sebagai panduan pembaca dan menyatakan bahan-bahan rujukan yang digunakan semasa mentafsir ayat-ayat al-Quran. Bagi memudahkan para pembaca tafsir ini, beliau turut membuat senarai kandungan di bawah tajuk “Fihrasat ayat” yang merangkumi kandungan halaman surah al-Fatihah dan surah al-Baqarah. Isi kandungan perbincangan bagi setiap halaman tafsiran ayat turut dinyatakan di bawah tajuk “ Kandungan di dalam juzuk alif lam mim”. Manakala Tafsir Surah Yasin Uthman Syahabudin pula merupakan terjemahan dan tafsir surah Yasin yang dipetik daripada Tafsir Jamal dan Tafsir Jalalain, Kaedah ini turut memudahkan para pembaca yang ingin mencari perbahasan terhadap ayat-ayat tertentu berdasarkan senarai kandungan ayat tersebut.

Melayari kehidupan rumahtangga bukanlah semudah yang dijangkakan. Barangkali pelbagai onak dan duri yang akan ditempuhi sepanjang melayari bahtera kehidupan bersama suami isteri. Justeru, bagi memastikan objektif perkahwinan yang inginkan mawaddah dan sakinah, konsep ta’awun amat perlu diberi penekanan. Kertas kerja ini akan mengupas konsep ta’awun dalam rumahtangga sebagaimana yang telah disebut oleh Nabi SAW. Kertas kerja ini akan mengekstrak dan menghimpunkan semua hadis berkaitan dengan ta’awunsecara umum. Pengektrakan hadis ini akan memberi tumpuan kepada lafazta’awunyang terdapat dalam hadis. Pengekstrakan ini akan menggunakan kata kunci perkataan عاون. Seterusnya kupasan dan penjelasan bagi hadis-hadis yang telah diekstrak akan dijadikan sebagai asas dalam merangka konsep ta’awundalam kehidupan berumahtangga. Kajian ini berbentuk kualitatif dengan menggunakan kaedah analisis tematik. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa konsep ta’awunberdasarkan pendekatan nabi SAW adalah wajar diterapkan dalam kehidupan berumahtangga kerana konsep ta’awunini meliputi dimensi yang luas bukan sahaja terhaskepada kerjasama dalam pengurusan rumahtangga tetapi ia melibatkan ta’wun dalam pengurusan emosi dan perasaan.

Hadith knowledge has gained attention among the community, especially in the world of new media. It is increasingly being debated through various social media channels, causing various issues debated in academic field. Realizing the importance of the main reference for Muslims, posting content containing hadith online is often by uploading or sharing by content creators in various display styles on YouTube. Apart from statements or hadith quotes, there are some contents that is broadcast in the form of advertisements, debates, commentaries, enlightenments, explanations, or interpretation in various languages. The use of the facilities provided with positive information related to the hadith means following the hadith narration method is one of the noble efforts in spreading da'wah. While argumentation and interpretation based on the study of previous scholars can give an effect of appreciation in understanding a hadith. Not only does this increase the knowledge of Muslims about this main source, it also increases piety and faith. On the other hand, the use of YouTube that allows application activities without censorship of views or opinions of radical, fanatical or baseless arguments. The effect on the user (viewer) can result in confusion with the meaning of a hadith, even creating a real contradiction in understanding of a hadith. The purpose of writing this article is to identify the form of distortion of hadith interpretation in broadcasting on YouTube that can contribute to the misuse of hadith. This writing was produced through a qualitative method based on grounded theory, content and thematic analysis. The content of the data was collected through the library and also in the field (YouTube). This study and previous studies found that the distortion of the interpretation and meaning of the hadith posted on YouTube exists in various forms and varies. The researcher found that among the factors of hadith distortion are fame, religious riders, missionaries etc. The results of this study are expected to contribute to researchers in particular and Muslims in preserving the purity of the Hadith in order to maintain the integrity and harmony of the world.

Social media has become an integral part of daily life, with platforms like YouTube revolutionizing knowledge dissemination and interaction. The increasing popularity of YouTube for sharing Hadith content has significantly amplified the spread of Islamic teachings. However, this trend has also led to the widespread misuse of Hadith, where individuals and groups distort or misinterpret these sacred texts to promote personal beliefs, sectarian agendas, or financial gains. Such misuse raises critical issues, including misinformation, confusion among viewers, and the erosion of authentic religious guidance. This qualitative study employs a grounded theory approach to explore the forms, causes, and effects of Hadith misuse on YouTube. Data was collected through pilot studies, library research, and field observations, and analyzed using content and thematic analysis. The findings reveal several forms of misuse, such as incomplete or absent Sanad, mistranslations, fabricated Hadith, and exploitation for personal or commercial purposes. Factors contributing to misuse include ignorance, sectarian biases, political motives, and the pursuit of fame or profit. The negative consequences span religious, academic, social, and psychological domains, undermining the integrity of Islamic teachings and fostering division within the Muslim community. The study highlights the absence of a robust online monitoring system on YouTube as a key weakness in addressing this issue. It proposes preventive measures, including the development of new laws, regulations, and technological tools to verify Hadith authenticity. Recommendations also emphasize the need for public awareness campaigns, educational programs, and collaboration between scholars, authorities, and technology experts to promote responsible Hadith dissemination. By addressing these challenges, this research aims to safeguard the sanctity of Hadith and enhance the ummah's ability to access accurate religious guidance in the digital age.

Nikah Express is rising rapidly in Malaysia because of its faster and simpler method where no need to go through the lengthy legal and administrative procedures of Malaysian Sharia law. This practice is especially prevalent among individuals seeking polygamous marriages. However, it raises several concerns, as such marriage may not be officially recognized by Malaysian authorities, which can lead to problems related to inheritance rights, child custody, and spousal rights. The objective of this study is to understand the nature of Nikah Express, its challenges and development in Malaysia. This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing documents, relevant literature and case studies to understand the development and consequences of Nikah Express. The results of this study indicate that there has been an increase in Nikah Express in Malaysia in recent years, although Nikah Express provides a faster marriage option, it's also often leads to complications, such as a lack of legal recognition in Malaysia, disputes over inheritance rights, and social stigma. The study concludes that, addressing these challenges requires stricter enforcement of marriage registration regulations and greater efforts to raise public awareness.

This study aims to identify the involvement of academicians on the teaching of the hadith. The contribution of the academic to the teaching of the hadith is indispensable in expounding the meaning of al-Sunnah as a second source of Islamic law. This study selected academicians from several universities including the University of Malaya, the National University of Malaysia, the Islamic Science University of Malaysia and the International Islamic University; in which they are all in involved in various fields of Islamic Studies. The method used in this study is a questionnaire which is group sampling. The author distributed the questionnaire to the academic staff at the university. Based on this descriptive analysis of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that the academicians involved, played a significant role in raising the awareness on the important oh Sunnah. They also contribute to the expanding of communities in understanding the hadith and used multiple rooms as their premises such as universities, mosques, surau and others. This shows that most academicians have good knowledge in relation to the study of hadith. Therefore, they are among the most suitable to be used as references to the community in solving the problems of Sunnah and bid'ah, especially the academicians who are experts in the field of hadith.

Konsep ini hampir sinonim dengan konsep bimbingan (mentoring) yang menggalakkan orang lebih pengalaman membantu orang menghadapi masalah membangunkan potensi diri. untuk membimbing orang . Konsep ini yang berjaya memberdaya ahli dalam sesebuah organisasi. Namun, perbezaan kosep ini dengan konsep bimbingan adalah ia dilakukan dalam komuniti masyarakat, mempunyai kaedah tertentu dan mempunyai kesan yang lebih besar. Langkah tersebut dilihat berjaya menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat pada ketika itu.yang Islam baru di Madinah menjadi yang kuat dan disegani meskipun pada awalnya mereka berhadapab dengan krisis ini dilihat sebagai satu langkah bimbingan dalam kalangan masyarakat tatkala krisis yang akhirnya berjaya menjadikan mereka dapat mengharunginya. Namun, tiada model pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui konsep ini yang diutarakan bagi diaplikasikan dalam menyelesaikan masalah masyarakat di kala krisis. Justeru artikel ini cuba meneroka konsep tersebut serta melihat kesesuaiannya untuk diaplikasikan untuk memberdaya masyarakat di kala krisis.

Penularan virus COVID-19 telah banyak mengorbankan ribuan nyawa serta menjangkiti jutaan manusia telah menggusarkan hati semua manusia di dunia. Virus ini telah diisytiharkan sebagai satu penyakit global serta mula memasuki negara-negara seluruh dunia. Kes pertama dikesan positif di Malaysia pada Februari 2020. Justeru itu, pihak kerajaan telah mengeluarkan prosedur operasi standard (SOP) bagi mengawal penularan wabak COVID-19. Maka, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menilai SOP yang ditetapkan oleh kerajaan Malaysia keselariannya dengan perbahasan Sunnah Rasulullah SAW. Kajian ini memfokuskan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif dengan penelitian terhadap hadis-hadis berkaitan wabak dan kaedah pencegahan penularan wabak. Hasilnya, setiap saranan yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak kerajaan Malaysia melalui penetapan SOP yang dikeluarkan seperti larangan rentas negeri, penjarakan fizikal, kuarantin kendiri dan pemakaian pelitup muka adalah bertepatan dengan sunnah Rasulullah SAW.
