Publication MO's Delight: Healthy Snack Derived from the Leaf of Life(Kolej PERMATA Insan, 2023-12-23) ;Airiss Quraisya Karim ;Najwa Zulhisham ;Siti Aminah Mahirah Feisal Merican ;Nur Farisa Hani Norazwan ;Nurul Aina Nazihah Mohd NizanTri-complex diseases in Malaysia are the main cause of death and disability in Malaysia. There are shreds of evidence that indicate the government spends RM9.65 billion every year to treat non-communicable diseases (NCDs) which indirectly makes the patients who have been suffering from the illness spend extra money to be treated. There are numerous methods or remedies that should be taken to avoid these unwelcome diseases, for instance, the easiest way is to practice a healthy lifestyle by eating nutritious food which plays a massive role in each person's life. Our team would like to introduce a product called MO’s Delight which is a chip or snack that originally comes from Moringa Oleifera as a highlight among other ingredients. Moringa Oleifera (MO) has such a promising review in preventing various diseases and is suitable for every age tier. The primary advantage of Moringa Oleifera is its richness in phytosterols which act as the precursors for hormones and increase the estrogen production, which in turn stimulates the proliferation of the mammary gland ducts to produce milk. It is used to treat malnutrition problems in children who are younger than 3 years. Next, Moringa works as an anti-diabetic property. Several studies show that insulin-like protein found in Moringa, helps the body to process sugar better. Moringa Oleifera also can be used as an anticancer agent as it is natural, reliable and safe, at established concentrations. Studies have revealed that Moringa can be used as an anti-neo proliferative agent, thereby inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. In conclusion, we can see that society these days can survive by not entirely counting on medication and beginning to consume nature as one of the alternative ways to heal. We hope that this effort could be a kick-start toward the efforts to sustain human growth.17 85
