Scientifically, stress is regarded as the perception of threat resulting in anxiety discomfort, emotional tension, and difficulty in adjustment. In recent years, stress has become more popular among the students. Past research conducted on stress among Malaysian Gifted students has yet not been carried out much. The study aims to identify the level of stress among Muslims gifted students. This study is quantitative in the form of a survey using the Perceived Stress Scale Inventory (PSS) instrument. The sample of this study is a total of 33 students in Form 3 at one of the Muslim gifted and talented schools in Negeri Sembilan. The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) inventory was analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Overall, the results showed a low stress level for one person, a moderate stress level for 20 students, and a high perceived stress level for 12 students. In conclusion, it provides early exposure to high school students in identifying stress in students. This finding is also useful for parents as well as school psychology and counselling units in understanding these students. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The main purpose of this study is to identify the levels of perfectionism among gifted and talented Muslim students at PERMATA Insan College (KPI). This study is important to avoid the negative effect of perfectionism among students because some studies conducted with gifted students have revealed that perfectionism breeds harsh self-criticism, self-doubt, and a fear of failure, all of which are associated with an increased propensity for suicidal thoughts and actions. The level of perfectionism are determined with the assistance of Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale by Frost (1990). There are low, medium and high-level perfectionists. Previous studies have proven several factors that influence the levels of perfectionism such as surroundings and other people's expectations. The scale consists of 35 questions which contain six constructs. 83 students has taken part in this study. This quantitative study shows that majority of PERMATA Insan College’s students perfectionism level is at medium-level. Some suggestions were made to get a better understanding and help students with perfectionism and at the same time increase their level of thinking styles in the quest of producing future gifted and talented Islamic scholar.
