Publication Kesahan Dan Kebolehpercayaan Instrumen Pengetahuan Kolokasi Bahasa Arab IPT (i-KAC IPT) Menggunakan Model Pengukuran Rasch(Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, 2018) ;Lily Hanefarezan Asbulah ;Maimun Aqsha Lubis ;Ashinida AladdinMus'ab SahrimKolokasi merupakan aspek yang penting dan perlu diberi perhatian dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Untuk mengetahui tahap pengetahuan kolokasi dalam bahasa Arab memerlukan alat ukur yang jitu dari segi kesahan konstruk dan kebolehpercayaan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengesahkan instrumen bagi mengukur tahap pengetahuan kolokasi bahasa Arab dalam kalangan graduan bahasa Arab di universiti awam. Untuk tujuan tersebut, set ujian telah diedarkan kepada pelajar tahun akhir yang sedang mengikuti program pengajian bahasa Arab di KUIS. Instrumen yang dibangunkan ini diberi nama instrumen Pengetahuan Kolokasi Bahasa Arab (i-KAC). Seramai 61 orang pelajar awam telah dijadikan responden dalam kajian ini. Kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan dalam kajian ini diukur menggunakan Model Pengukuran Rasch menggunakan perisian Winstep versi 3.68.2. Tahap noise yang diukur adalah sebanyak 4.9% dan jauh daripada nilai terkawal maksima iaitu sebanyak 15%, namun tiada pasangan item yang mengelirukan timbul dalam soal selidik ini. Dari sudut kebolehpercayaan, indek kebolehpercayaan item menunjukkan tahap kebolehpercayaan yang tinggi iaitu 0.91 manakala indeks kebolehpercayaan responden adalah 0.81. Dapatan ini memberikan kesahan konstruk instrument i-KAC. Model Pengukuran Rasch telah menunjukkan bahawa instrumen i-KAC ini mempunyai tahap kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan yang tinggi dan digunakan dalam pengukuran pengetahuan kolokasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Profile Of Self-Identity Amongst Adolescents: A Study In Johor(Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), 2017) ;Ahmad Fuad Mohamad Amin ;Ruslin Amir ;Saemah RahmanMaimun Aqsha LubisAdolescents are synonymous with the era of self-identity confusion. The effect of self-identity disorder among adolescents can be described through misconduct on school discipline. Various efforts have been made to help adolescence to achieve a positive self-identity. The situation became more challenging when adolescents known as generation Y are easily allured by the current trend. Considering this, the study was conducted to identify the profile of self-identity among adolescents of generation Y. This study was conducted in 22 secondary schools around Johor involving a sample of 807 students. Data were collected through questionnaires EOMEIS-2, which adapted and modified. Descriptive analysis showed that adolescents give a high-level perception of the identity achievement (mean=3.84) and identity moratorium (mean=3.78), and moderate level to identity foreclosure (mean=3.32) and diffusion (mean=3.43). Cluster analysis showed that a total of 276 adolescents comprise identity foreclosure, identity diffusion followed 220 students, 187 students of identity achievement and 124 students of identity moratorium. MANOVA analysis showed that adolescent identity differs significantly by gender and age. The study's findings have implications as additional information to the various parties, particularly parents and teachers as a guide in guiding adolescents to achieve positive self-identity. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication The Relationship Between The Aspect Of Fluency And Other Aspects Of Quranic Reading Mastery In J-Qaf Programme A Case Study At Malacca(AENSI Publisher, 2015) ;Nurfadilah Mohamad ;Maimun Aqsha LubisMuhammad Mustaqim Mohd ZarifBackground: As an initiative to strengthen the mastery of basic principles of Islam among students at primary school level, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has introduced the j-QAF programme. This programme has been introduced since 2004 which includes aspects of learning Jawi script, reading Quran, learning Arabic and understanding basic skills of Fard „Ayn. Based on these four aspects, the study focus on the aspects of reading Quran in j-QAF programme. This study employs a case study method by focussing at Sekolah Kebangsaan Dato‟ Demang Hussin, Malacca. This paper discusses the relationship between the aspect of fluency and other aspects of quranic reading mastery among Standard Six pupils who are the first generation of student to follow the teaching and learning of the j-QAF programme. In addition, it also describes the differences between the gender of pupils on every aspects in reading the Quran in the j-QAF programme. Quranic reading test was used as an instrument to gain data for the study. This instrument was adopted and adapted from the form published by Majlis Tilawah al-Quran (MTQ). A total of 136 standard six primary school students were randomly chosen from every class with different level of achievement. This research also analyzed the correlation between the aspect of fluency and another aspect of Quranic reading mastery in j-QAF programme. In the inferential analysis, the findings show that there is a significant correlation between the aspect of fluency and the rules of tajwid, punctuation and pronunciation. Meanwhile, there is no significant difference of the level of mastery in reading the Quran among girls and boys in all aspects; fluency, the rules of tajwid, punctuation and pronunciation. This study also propose some recommendations for the future researchers to ensure the successful implementation of the Quranic modules in the j-QAF programme in meeting its intended objectives.
