Publication Kesepadanan Fungsi Terjemahan Derivasi Ifta’ala Dalam Surah Al-Baqarah(USIM Press, 2021-10) ;Muhammad Firdaus Abdul Manaf ;Mohd. Asyran Safwan KamaruzamanMohd. Kamel Mat SallehMany translators have difficulty finding the most accurate translation of Arabic verbs into Malay. This is due to the failure to determine the derivative translation match of a prepositional verb between the two languages. This paper focuses on the most natural derivative translation of verbs in surah al-Baqarah. The objective of this study is to see how this Arabic-Malay translation can be done well on root words entered by the prefix alif in front of a verb and the insertion ta’ placed after the first let ter of the root word. A total of six samples found in surah al-Baqarah were studied using contrastive analysis and context theory. Based on the six reward functions for the verb ifta'ala, only the functions of al-mubalaghah fi ma'na al-fi'l, al-musharakah, al-ijtihad, al-ittikhadh and al-izhar were found in the six samples of the study, representing 83.3% of the total functions stated. Only the al-mutawa’ah reward word function, which represents 16.7%, was not found in any of the study samples. In conclusion, the translation is seen to be successful because it can be done well and understood, in accordance with the context of the sentence. Therefore, no translation suggestions were submitted. The results of the study can be used as input in developing a translation module for the derivation of Arabic-Malay ifta'ala verbs and can provide important implications to those directly involved in the field of translation, namely students, teachers and fans of translation - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Unsur Khurafat Dalam Ajaran Sesat Di Malaysia: Analisis Pandangan Hukum Jawatankuasa Muzakarah Majlis Kebangsaan Bagi Hal Ehwal Ugama Islam Malaysia(USIM Press, 2021-10) ;Mohd Kamel Mat Salleh ;Muhammad Firdaus Abdul ManaMohd. Asyran Safwan KamaruzamanA particular doctrine will be declared as deviant teaching if it contains heretical elements that are clearly against the Islamic faith. The Muzakarah Committee of the National Council for Malaysian Islamic Affairs (MKI Muzakarah Committee) and the State Mufti Department have issued several legal views and fatwas on misleading practices that clearly contradict with Islamic teachings due to heretical elements found in particular deviant groups. Hence, this article aims to analyze the heretical teachings in some deviant groups that have been gazette for ban in Malaysia. This study uses document analysis method with reference to views of the law and fatwas issued involving heretical teachings which have been gazetted for ban in Malaysia. There is strong evidence on existence of heretical elements and misleading practices by the studied deviant groups, thus causing them to be gazetted as heretical groups that clearly deviate from the true teachings of Islam. Accordingly, this work is a significant study to explain the threats of heretical teachings to Islamic teachings and Muslim society as a whole, realizing that deeds of Muslim believers in principle will not be accepted if their practice clearly contradicts with the Islamic faith
