Publication Allah sebagai Pencipta Ilmu Matematik dalam Al-Quran(Penerbit USIM, 2023) ;Norrlaili ShapieeNur Idayu binti Ah KhaliludinAl-Quran, sebagai kitab suci dalam Islam, mengandungi petunjuk dan ajaran Allah kepada manusia. Salah satu aspek Al-Quran yang menarik ialah hubungan antara ajaran agama dan pemahaman sains, termasuk matematik. Terdapat ayat-ayat dalam al-Quran yang menunjukkan pengetahuan Allah tentang konsep matematik. Sebagai contoh, dalam Surah Ar-Ra'd (13:2), Allah menerangkan kitaran langit, matahari dan bulan menggunakan konsep matematik seperti orbit dan gerakan berkala. Selain itu, terdapat ayat-ayat dalam Al-Quran yang mengandungi bilangan dan perhitungan. Sebagai contoh, dalam Surah Al-Hajj (22:47), Allah menjelaskan bahawa satu hari di sisi-Nya bersamaan dengan seribu tahun manusia. Ayat ini mengajar bahawa konsep matematik seperti perbandingan dan pengiraan boleh digunakan untuk memahami kebesaran Allah. Al-Quran juga menekankan kepentingan ilmu dan pemahaman yang mendalam. Allah mengajak manusia merenungkan ciptaan-Nya, mengkaji alam semesta, dan mencari ilmu. Dalam Surah Ali-Imran (3:190), Allah menyatakan bahawa tanda-tanda kekuasaan-Nya terlihat pada penciptaan langit, bumi, dan silih bergantinya malam dan siang. Ayat ini menggalakkan manusia menggunakan akal dan mengembangkan ilmu termasuk matematik. Secara keseluruhan, Al-Quran mengandungi petunjuk yang menghubungkan Allah sebagai Pencipta dengan sains, termasuk matematik. Ayat-ayat dalam al-Quran mendedahkan pengetahuan Allah tentang konsep matematik dan menggalakkan manusia untuk mengkaji dan merenung ciptaan-Nya. Publication Comparison Between Parametric Mortality Models for Old Age Mortality in Malaysia(Penerbit USIM, 2023) ;Nur Idayu Ah Khaliludin ;Norrlaili ShapieeNurLiyana JuhanAn Unexpected increase in life expectancy and low mortality rates for old people has lead Malaysia to be an ageing nation. As the ageing issue has gained prominence as mortality rates, study on the mortality rates and modelling these rates is significant so that the government and private sectors can prepare immediately and adequately for the specific needs of the aged such as the health care and retirement plan. However, modelling the mortality rates for old age is challenging as the mortality data often exhibit irregular patterns due to randomness and uncertainties. Several mortality models have been formulated to model the death rates. This research applies seven mortality models to the Malaysian mortality data from the years 2010 to 2016. The results show that the model established by Khaliludin et. al (2021) significantly improves Malaysian mortality estimation for old age in terms of accuracy and prediction performance, as well as its ability to capture important mortality features such as accident hump, mortality crossover, and deceleration of mortality at old ages. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Matematik menyediakan rangka kerja yang sistematik untuk menganalisa fenomena semula jadi dan berupaya menjangka kejadian alam di masa hadapan. Ia digunakan dalam astronomi, geografi, seni bina dan lain-lain. Fizik pula mengkaji sifat semula jadi dan undang-undang pergerakan objek. Fizik memberikan penjelasan tentang bagaimana alam semesta berfungsi melalui pemerhatian dan eksperimen. Kedua ilmu ini digunakan dalam penyelidikan saintifik, pembangunan teknologi dalam bidang seperti telekomunikasi, pengangkutan dan lain-lain. Pakar matematik memodelkan fenomena alam berdasarkan kejadian-kejadian lepas dan menghasilkan nombor-nombor untuk dianalisa oleh ahli fizik. Pakar fizik kemudian mengaitkan hasil analisa dengan sifat-sifat semula jadi dan undang-undang pergerakan objek di alam semesta dan dapat menjangka kebarangkalian fenomena buruk seperti banjir besar, gempa bumi dan taufan. Ilmu matematik dan fizik juga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan kita tentang alam semesta serta mengukuhkan kepercayaan terhadap kewujudan Allah sebagai Pencipta Yang Maha Esa. Kesimpulannya, matematik dan fizik menyediakan alat dan kerangka yang diperlukan untuk memahami dan menjelaskan alam semesta berdasarkan wahyu Ilahi, meluaskan pengetahuan tentang ciptaan Allah, dan menguatkan kepercayaan kepada-Nya sebagai pencipta yang sempurna. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Spherical trigonometry a branch of Mathematics plays a critical role in determining the direction of Qibla. This paper presents a trigonometry formula to calculate the direction of Qibla at the Tamhidi Centre at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). Publication The Numerical Calculation Of Hybrid Conjugate Gradient Method Under Armijo Line Search And Its Application(Penerbit UTM Press, 2021) ;Norhaslinda Zullpakkal ;Norrlaili Shapiee ;Syazwani Mohd ZokriMohd RivaieConjugate gradient (CG) method is known due to its simplicity, global convergence and low memory requirement. To date, the research on CG method in Google Scholar has reached 1470000. Nowadays, the modification on hybrid CG method has become a focus among researchers. Thus, this paper introduces a new hybrid CGco efficient by combining two previous coefficients, Linda-Aini-Mustafa-Rivaie (LAMR)and Norrlaili-Rivaie-Mustafa-Ismail (NRMI). Since LAMR has a good performance understrong Wolfe while NRMI is quite good with exact line search, it is guaranteed that the new proposed hybrid CG method, NL will yield a good numerical analysis under Armijo line search. NL is compared to LAMR, NRMI and Abashar-Mustafa-Rivaie-Ismail (AMRI)to solve the unconstrained optimization problems. Based on the performance profile, NLco efficient is able to solve 58% problems with least iteration number and 52% problems with least CPU time. In order to test its capability, this NL coefficient is applied in regression analysis for data fitting. A real data set concerning Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) dividend rate has been chosen to construct the linear regression model. The linear model of NL coefficient is compared to the least square and Excel trendline methods. According to the relative error, it shows that NL coefficient is applicable to solve real-life problem which makes it a promising method. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication A Study Of Comparison Analysis Tools For Children’s Food Nutrition Recommendation Among Parent Using Mobile Application(University Malaysia of Computer Science & Engineering (UNIMY), 2022) ;Noorrezam YusopNorrlaili ShapieeA supplying children nutrition allowed children have good development and health for supporting development in future. However, to ensure that the children have sufficient nutrition, parents are the most concerned about preparing the food whether in security and insecurity of the food. Therefore, preparation of food recommendation is an essential process to prepare food with nutrition for children. As result, this report addresses a research gap in previous work on food nutrition for the market, commercial, and research objectives. Then, investigation of various research focusing on evaluation and analysis are conducted. To obtain the limitations of the tool study, the strengths and weaknesses of its features and functionality are counted. Finally, these tools still need to be improved, particularly for children food nutrition development and recommendation.
