Publication Fakhr Al-Din Al-Razi: a systematic review on literature found in Indonesia(IAEME Publication, 2018) ;Nur Farhana Baharuddin ;Hishomudin Ahmad ;Saadah Abd Rahman ;Hazleena Baharun ;Faculty of Major Language Studies ;Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah StudiesUniversiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM)Al-Razi, a philosopher, theologian, and exegetist in the history Islamic thought, was one prominent Muslim scholar that had contributed in interpreting the al-Quran. Numerous studies have been conducted on this remarkable scholar and his outstanding works in Middle East and European countries, however, Indonesian studies have not been extensively highlighted. Thus, the present study aims to analyze studies conducted by Muslim Indonesian scholars on al-Razi�s works published in Indonesia between 2008 and 2016. The researcher employed Systematic Literature Review (SLR) as its main methodological tool with the adaptation of PRISMA technique. Findings revealed that Muslim Indonesian scholars mainly focused on three core subjects when they studied the works of al-Razi. The first was specific themes found in the Qur�an namely Oneness of Allah and His creation, the societal relationship in community, and Islamic philosophy on human creation. Second, comparative studies between al-Razi and other prominent Muslim scholars. Finally, the methodology used by al-Razi when interpreting the Qur�an. This study shows that Al-Razi�s works are so diverse and relevant that they are often referred to by present Indonesian Muslim scholars. Thus, it can be concluded that al-Razi�s works are very much pertinent and significant even in the modern world. � IAEME Publication. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Setiap huruf, perkataan, ayat dan surah di dalamnya mengandungi pola yang sempurna dan tersusun indah. Setiap pola dalam al-Quran mempunyai makna yang signifikan untuk dikaji. Secara umumnya kajian mengenai pola al-Quran telah banyak dijalankan. Walaubagaimanapun tiada kajian spesifik mengenai pola berdasarkan perkataan dalam al-Quran khususnya perkataan basar. Tambahan pula terjemahan al-Quran sedia ada didapati tidak mengambil kira aspek pemaknaan secara kontekstual sesuatu perkataan dalam terjemahan mereka. Justeru, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola perkataan basar dalam surah al-Isra’, menganalisis makna perkataan basar dan mengklasifikasikannya berdasarkan pendekatan tematik terhadap makna konteks ayat. Kertas kerja ini merupakan kertas kerja konseptual dengan menggunakan kaedah kualitatif serta kaedah analisis kandungan berdasarkan pendekatan tematik. Hasil dapatan kajianmendapati dalam surah al-Isra’terdapat 8 pengulangan perkataan “basar”. Dapatan kajian ini juga mendapati bahawasetiap perkataan basara mempunyai makna yang berbeza berdasarkan derivasi dan makna konteks setiap ayat. Pemahaman khusus sebegini perlu dikaji secara lebih meluas terhadap perkataan yang ada di dalam al-Quran, lebih-lebih lagi terjemahan al-Quran sedia ada tidak mengambil kira pendekatan ini dalam penterjemahan mereka. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication The Word Of 'Basar' And Its Meronym In Quran: Comparative Study Between Quranic Dictionaries(INT Organization Center Acad Research, 2018) ;Mohamed Akhiruddin Ibrahim ;Hishomudin Ahmad ;Robiatul Adawiyah Mohd ;Muhammad Widus SempoNur Farhana BaharuddinThe knowledge on the meaning of Quranic individual words is one of the essential prerequisite in order to comprehend the verses of Quran. A specific semantic relation to linguistics namely as meronym, represents a structural sense relation between meanings that become a fundamental part of, and refers to a bundle of different part-to-whole relationships of a word. The understanding of meronym relations, are at the heart of many question-answering systems and define the root meaning of the word itself. Therefore, this study aims to discuss the meaning of the word Basar and its meronym in Quran based on a comparison between four Quran dictionaries which are Quran Corpus, Al-Mu. jam Al-Mufahras li Alfaz Al-Quran, Qaimah Mu'jamiyah bi Alfaz Al-Quran Al-Karim wa Darajat Tikrariha and Mu. jam Alfaz Al-Qur'an Al Karim. The study applied document analysis by identifying the meronym of word basar in Quran. Then the data was analysed and compared between those aformentioned dictionaries. The findings obtained shows that. Ayn is the meronym of the word Basar that means eye. The study also found that there are similarities and differences regarding the frequency of word Basar and. Ayn between these sources. A comparative study of these words in Quran would therefore be of great interest, and the further discussions are expected to explain the comparison of the word Basar and. In different periods of time, there were many studies and discussions of synonyms on words in the text of Quran especially in terms of its accurate meaning. Some scholars argue the meaning of the word and its synonyms based on their views and arguments that led to sources diversity. Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify the meaning of the word Basar in Quran and discuss the synonyms of this word based on a comparison between Quran Corpus and Mu'jam Mufahras Li Alfaz Al-Quran, which are the Quran dictionaries. This study applied content analysis by identifying the synonym of word of basar in Quran. Then the data was analysed and compared between those two dictionaries in order to find similarities and differences. The result shows that Ra'a, Syahida and Nazara are the synonyms of Basar, which means vision and all of them can be found in both dictionaries. In addition, the finding also shows that the frequencies of all words are similar except for the word Ra'a. The further discussions are expected to explain the comparison of the word Basar and its synonyms in Quran based on other Quran linguistic sources.
