This technical report contains cases, namely "Ancaman Pencerobohan Sistem Berkomputer"; "Dilemmas In Corporate Communication Division"; "Pertindihan Perintah Mahkamah Syariah"; "Panggilan Pulau Besar"; "Pencegahan SARS" and "Justice Delayed: Aida Melly Case". The case "Ancaman Pencerobohan Sistem Berkomputer" presented an issue relating to the ethics in computerise operation environment. "Dilemmas In Corporate Communication Division" looked at the factors in handling public complaints. While "Pertindihan Perintah Mahkamah Syariah" looked at the workings of syariah legal system. The case "Panggilan Pulau Besar" discussed about deviant teachings while the case "Pencegahan SARS" presented crisis management fkom Islamic perspective. The cases have valuable learning points and together with teaching guides, they could be usefbl for teaching-learning purposes. However, it must be noted that the cases are written as case research exercises and they are not meant to evaluate good or bad management practices. Any use of the cases and reference to them must be accompanied with written permission of the author(s) concerned.

Islamic pedagogy is an approach refers to the influence of Islamic values on the theory and practice of learning and how it is reshaping the relation between learners and Islamic knowledge. Muslim scholars had their contribution in finding and improving an Islamic pedagogy through Maqasid al-Shari’ah and practicing of learning. However, their great effort is not highlighted academically to show the possible application of Islamic pedagogy in the modern schools and how to encounter the challenges of secular philosophical trends and the implications of current educational systems. The researchers followed a descriptive method to analyse and criticise the data collected by induction from the writings of Ibn “Ashur about Maqasid al-Shari’ah and the works of Abdessalam Yassine on Islamic pedagogy. The researchers found that Ibn “Ashur set instinct as a foundation for Maqasid which, through it, many fractions of Islamic law could be regulated, while Yassine utilized his long experience of being a teacher and educational inspector to observe the role of the Quranic instinct in Islamic pedagogy and the development of learning system.

Quranic memorization and Qiraat are considered important parts in the fields of Quranic studies. Their importance could be seen in their roles in preserving and ensuring the continuity and authenticity of the Quranic verses from mistakes and errors. As such, many programs are introduced in this field of study at the level of diploma by certified institutions specializing in that field. In the academic planning of 2003, the Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Islamic University College of Malaysia, planned to offer a bachelor's degree in the field of Tahfiz and Qiraat studies. Therefore, it is the aim of this research to get the opinions of all the parties related to this program such as the students, teachers in the field of Tahfiz and Qiraat, future employers as well as members of society. Issues such as the necessity and suitability of the program, the capability of students in following the curriculum, and its prospects in academic advancement as well as future employment are the main points to be dealt with in this research. The methodologies adopted in this research include the methods of field research such as the use of questionnaires distributed to and interviews with selected respondents in parts of peninsular Malaysia. The findings indicate that the present level of Tahfiz and Qiraat studies at the diploma level is sufficient to cater to the needs of society. In general, the need for it to be offered at the bachelor's degree level is outweighed by the inadequacy of employment opportunities for its graduates in the job market and thus, must heavily rely on the support and assistance of the government.

COVID-19 yang melanda dunia pada awal tahun 2020 telah memberi kesan yang besar terhadap kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi di seluruh dunia. Banyak aktiviti sosialekonomi terganggu secara global seperti penangguhan dan pembatalan aktiviti kebudayaan, keagamaan, pelancongan, sukan dan lain-lain acara yang melibatkan terencatnya rantaian ekonomi membawa kepada berlakunya penutupan syarikat dan penggantungan aktiviti kerja disebabkan pandemik ini yang mana ianya menyebabkan kadar pengangguran meningkat dengan drastik dan peluang pekerjaan juga semakin sempit. Kertas kerja ini membincangkan tentang isu kesan COVID-19 terhadap kebolehpasaran graduan IPT khususnya graduan Fakulti Pengajian Quran dan Sunnah. Objektif utama kajian adalah untuk mengenalpasti pelan tindakan yang perlu dilakukan oleh pihak Fakulti dan Universiti dalam usaha membantu graduan memperolehi pekerjaan terutamanya di era pandemik COVID-19 yang belum pasti bila ianya akan berakhir. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif dengan membuat penilaian kepada program yang dianjurkan sebelum ini oleh pihak Universiti yang berjaya meningkatkan tahap kebolehpasaran graduan untuk tahun 2019 dan melihat program-program lain di luar sana yang berpotensi untuk memberi nilai tambah kepada graduan Fakulti Pengajian Quran Dan Sunnah. Kertas kerja ini mengemukakan pelan tindakan yang perlu dilakukan pihak fakulti dan universiti dalam meningkatkan kebolehpasaran graduan Fakulti Pengajian Quran dan Sunnah.

This study surveyed The Managenzent of Fatwa in Thailand. The objective of this study is to determine how far the management is able to solve problems of minority Muslims researched. The data obtained in this study were based on interviews, observations and documents collected. They were analyzed and found that the management of Fatwa in Thailand already existed. At the national level, the Fatwa is managed by Chula Ratmontri. He is assisted by an Advisory Council. At the local level, the Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah is responsible in solving the local problems. The Fatwa in Thailand is based on Al-Shfliyy Sect. The Fatwa is documented and distributed to the Muslim population in the form of written texts and also for the imams to use as a teaching material after prayers. Result of the study showed that the management of Fatwa in Thailand is well organized though several aspects need to be improved.
