Publication Hamas Media Portrayal Of Cultural And Historical Heritage Of Palestinian: A Case Study Of Al-Aqsa Television Channel(International Journal Documentation & Research Ins, 2021) ;Ihab Ahmed Ra'uf Awais ;Norhayati Rafida Abdul Rahim ;Sujoud Samih AwaisWesam A.M AlmahallawiThe study intends to examine the revival of Palestinian customs, traditions and rituals related to the historical heritage of Hamas' media coverage. Methodology: This research is descriptive qualitative research, that employs a mixed-method approach used the interview and survey as a tool of data collection.Main Findings: The findings show that Al-Aqsa channel believes that its role is an extension of Hamas Media and its vision in service the Palestinian cause. Based on the survey analysis, Besides the positive aspects of Al-Aqsa TV in the promotion of collective awareness of the Palestinian cause and its national identity. But it was considered as having less attention given to the traditional Palestinian clothing or Popular Proverbs, and cultural and historical heritage, and to allocate more of its programs to focus on heritage and folklore.Applications of this study: This research was conducted on the main bulletins of Al-Aqsa TV channel that affiliated to Hamas and broadcast from Palestine, with the consideration that Al-Aqsa Headquarter located in Gaza City. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study will enable the media practitioners to better understand about the role of Hamas' media toward the Palestinian traditions and rituals related to the historical heritage, and the nature of reflection of its media coverage on the minds, seeking to reach a better distinguish between the reality and what is hoped. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication The Impact Of Bullying On School Students In The United Arab Emirates - An Applied Study On Kalbaa Schools(Perdana Journal, 2023) ;Wesam A.M AlmahallawiMuna Ali Mohamed AlloghaniThe study aimed to identify the impact of bullying on school students in the United Arab Emirates through an applied study on Kalba schools, The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and the quantitative approach, and the total number of the study community in Kalba schools (300) individual managers, agents, teachers and workers who were randomly selected. The importance of this research is based on of a fundamental point, which is the disadvantages of this phenomenon and its danger to the individual and society at the same time. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is that bullying is a widespread phenomenon among school students in different stages of education, the first, second and secondary cycle, without exception and in different proportions, There are also many reasons that push children to bully, such as physical shape, way of speaking and the shape of clothes, social differences between students, and watching scenes of bullying and violence through social media, domestic violence and others, Bullying also varies among students according to the type of student, male or female, and according to the grade as well, and the study also found that the lack of communication between social workers in schools and parents to discuss the causes of bullying among students. The benefit of the study is the importance of eliminating bullying in UAE schools, and it is possible that the managers and faculty of these schools can benefit from this study. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Public Relations employment of Smart Mobile Applications as a mean of communication with the public: An Analytic study on UAE Government Applications using Dialogue Theory(USIM, 2024) ;Amel A. BilalWesam A.M AlmahallawiThe research explored the utilization of smart mobile applications by public relations de-partments in Emirati government institutions in the context of communication and dialogue with audiences. By analyzing these apps, the study aimed to identifythe interactive elements and mechanisms they offer in alignment with the principles of dialogue theory. The research adopted the survey method to answer its questions and employed a form to analyze the smart apps of UAE government institutions.Key findingsrevealed a discrepancy in how smart mobiles apps were used by public relations departments in Emirati government insti-tutions for dialogue and communication. The apps sampled in the research gave more atten-tion to “Ease of Interface”, “Conservation of Visitors”,and “Usefulness of Information” princi-ples. While the mechanisms for achieving “Generation of Return Visits” were not fully leveraged, and “Dialogic loop” was not accomplished effectively. The research emphasized theneed to educatepublic relations professionalsin government institutions on the signifi-cance of smart mobile apps in communication. It also highlighted the importance ofintegrating smartapps into the strategic plans of public relations departments to enhance opportunities for interactive dialogue withusers
