dc.description.abstractThis study discusses the guarantees of senior citizens in UAE law and in international law. The problem is that the opportunities of the elderly to lead a decent life to many economic and social causes and transformations. have been wasted and lost due Therefore, the study aimed to: Explain the legal protection of the elderly in international law. Elderly people are protected under international humanitarian law. Discussing of senior citizens in the United Arab Emirates. Through the guarantees for the rightsdescriptive, analytical and comparative approach, the study reached the following results: The UAE has established legal guarantees by issuing Federal Law No. 9 of 2019 nior citizens. The UAE constitution, in its recognition of the regarding the rights of serights and protection of the elderly, was consistent with the provisions of international discrimination in rights, the -human rights law, in the following areas: equality and nonrole in caring for the elderly, the right of the elderly to work, the right of family and itsthe elderly to education, the right of the elderly Age to participate in public life, the right of the of the elderly to obtain an income sufficient to cover their basic needs, the rien_US
