| dc.description.abstract | This study aims at identifying Media Framing of the Palestinian "Israeli" conflict on the websites of Foreign Satellite Channels, which are specified in the BBC, CNN, and RT satellite channels. This is in addition to identifying their degree of interest in the cause of the conflict as well as identifying the key figures, framework of reasons of the conflict. Moreover, the study also aims at identifying the mechanisms of employing media framework and identifying points of agreement and disagreement in addressing the issue of the Palestinian "Israeli" conflict between the websites of the study. The study adopted descriptive approach using the content analysis method, and the method of mutual relations, which using the systematic comparison method. The researcher has used main tools “content Analysis”, which is based on the news frames theory. The researcher also has selected the website of CNN, representing the community of the websites of U.S. channels, and the website of BBC on behalf of the websites of U.K channels, and the website of RT on behalf of the websites of Russia channels. The most important findings of the study: The volume of coverage of the issue of the Palestinian “Israeli” conflict in the websites was very big, especially in RT. The study showed a bias in coverage in favor of the “Israeli” side, as well as a clear highlighting of the Israeli key figures more than the Palestinian key figures, and this shows the weak of the Palestinian presence in this vital cause, therefore, it indicates an insufficient attention to the conflict from the Palestinian point of view. The study showed a slight advantage in favor of the Palestinian sources. | en_US |
