Abstract:
Due to the inadequate leadership practices of school’s manager in basic education, which consequently affects administrative creativity in their schools. This field research aims to examine the relationship between sustainable leadership and administrative creativity of teachers and employees in Basic Education Schools at various position levels in the Sultanate of Oman. The research also attempted to disclose the role of training and technology in facilitating the two components of the research (sustainable leadership and managerial creativity). To study these research elements in details, the research has adopted the descriptive analytical method; a questionnaire was prepared as a tool to achieve the goals of this research. The research tool consisted of four hypothetical configurations and eleven factors, each factor measuring at least four different elements. The total number of elements was (65). The research community consisted of (9004) male and female employees with different job titles. A sample of (975) participants was chosen from this community in a stratified random manner (10.8%) for each layer of the sample. The quality of the scale was confirmed through an exploratory study based on the Cronbach alpha factor. The result of analysing the internal consistency of the scale showed that the measures are valid for use. The value of the stability of the total instrument reached (0.98) while the value of the dimensions of the scale ranged between (0.71-0.94), which indicates that the measures used were characterized by distinct psychometric properties and that they are valid for use in any scientific studies. The researcher used the various statistical methods to answer the research questions mentioned in the first chapter, such as exploratory and confirmatory factory analysis, model structural equation and dependent variables variable analysis. The results of the exploratory factor analysis showed that the standards are characterized by constructive honesty, as its paragraphs diverged in the assumed factors according to the research questions, and the results of the empirical factor analysis confirmed the findings of the exploratory global analysis. In addition, the result of structural equation modelling analysis revealed a direct positive relationship between sustainable leadership and administrative creativity at (0.87%) as the availability of a sustainable leadership component creates the appropriate atmosphere for managerial creativity. On the other hand, the results showed that training and technology have a pivotal role in mediating between sustainable leadership and managerial creativity. The relationship rate has reached (0.91%). In light of the results reached, the researcher recommends that senior leaders at the level of the Ministry of Education and its directorates should pay attention to training school leaders with sustainable leadership skills.
