The concept of communication politeness in Islam can be referred through the discussion contained in the Quran (al-Khatib, 2012). The Qur'an contains rhetorical verses that illustrate the beauty of communication between people in accordance with the purpose to educate noble character. The ethics of communication are found in several surahs in the Quran. First, the qaulan sadida (QS.4 an-Nisa': 9) which speak words of appropriate justice, valid, and precise. Second, qaulan ma'rufa (QS.4 an-Nisa': 8) which suggests that humans communicate with language that does not touch the soul and feelings of the audience. Third, Qawlan baligha (QS.4 al-Nisa': 63) which emphasizes that information disseminated to the community can have a profound impact on their souls. Next is the qaulan maisura (QS.17: al-Isra': 28) which warns humans that the information disseminated must be understandable according to the level of capability of the listeners. Fifth, qaulan karima (QS.17: al-Isra': 23) which explains that the language and words expressed must have good and noble values. This paper explores the beauty of rhetorical language style in communication-themed verses in the Quran and brings new models with the addition of several new elements. The methodology of the study is qualitative by analyzing Quranic verses related to the theme of communication impressions as well as tafsir and Arabic rhetorical books, journal articles and other related sources. The study finds that the ethics and practices of polite communication in the Quran contain rhetorical elements. In addition to the qaulan verses mentioned above, the aspect of tone of voice, the use of the best and appropriate language as well as the technique of repetition are very important rhetorical elements in the communication process. This can be described as a guidance of strategies and methods in the characteristics of effective communication.

Isu penyebaran berita palsu antara perkara yang sering dibincangkan di Malaysia sama ada dari sudut undang-undang atau keharmonian masyarakat. Artikel ini menganalisa beberapa isu berkaitan penyebaran berita palsu berkaitan pandemik COVID-19. Ia dikaji dari sudut kesannya terhadap kestabilan masyarakat dari aspek adab kesopanan berkomunikasi dan emosi, samaada bagi penyebar berita ataupun penerimanya. Artikel ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif melalui analisis berita palsu dalam akhbar tempatan, analisis dokumen, artikel jurnal dan buku-buku berkaitan. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa penyebaran berita palsu menjadi kebiasaan bagi sebahagian masyarakat dengan adanya medium media sosial yang dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Sehubungan itu, kajian ini cuba mengetengahkan panduan kesopanan komunikasi menurut perspektif retorik al-Quran dan psikologi bagi membimbing masyarakat ke arah komunikasi yang lebih terpandu. Communication politeness and good manners should be applied in each individual as it is an important fortress in controlling one's behavior. The people most easily affected by the problem of moral damage and misconduct of society are teenagers. Teenage souls who are always advisable and new things encourage teenagers to always want to try and print knowledge usually gets them into the wrong behavior. Therefore, moral education needs to be inseminated since a small time beginning with the knowledge of faith, there in turn moral knowledge such as respecting parents and wisely socializing and associating with neighbors and society as a whole. This paper tries to peel moral problems and its impact on society. Besides that, this paper also looks at some of akhlak or good manners and communication politeness in the Quran, SurahAn-nisa' in dealing with this problem. Methodology: This study is based on descriptive studies and analysis of the contents of selected verses themed manners and morals from surah an-Nisa'. The findings found that many surah an-Nisa contain elements of manners that can be reported mainly related to self-esteem. A clear understanding of the issue of the contents of the Quran especially in matters related to morality can be used as a guide especially to the youths in shaping their character. Importance: This study is one of the areas of research that combines various fields (multidisciplinary) namely the field of social manners, psychology and rhetoric of Arabic al-Quran in explaining humanitarian themes in the Quran as a guide to human beings, while associating with neighbours and society as a whole.
