Negara Malaysia telah menjadi barisan hadapan untuk berjaya mewujudkan satu standard atau piawaian bagi Sistem Pengurusan Kualiti (SPK) yang patuh kepada Syariah telah diaplikasikan pada tahun 2005 buat pertama kalinya. Ia adalah satu piawaian yang mengikut Keperluan dari Perspektif Islam (MS1900: 2005) yang dikenali sebagai Sistem Pengurusan Kualiti - dan kemudiannya dipinda kepada piawaian baharu iaitu tahun 2014 dengan nama Sistem Pengurusan Kualiti Berasaskan Syariah (MS1900). Kajian kes ini bertujuan mengkaji cabaran-cabaran bagi kelestarian pelaksanaan system MS1900 ini khususnya di sebuah Kolej Komuniti di Malaysia. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif di mana metode pengumpulan data primer adalah melalui temu bual separa berstruktur, dan dilakukan trangulasi data yang dikumpulkan dari bukti dokumen dan pemerhatian. Teknik persampelan bertujuan digunakan untuk memilih semua informan yang terlibat secara aktif dalam pelaksanaan MS 1900 di institusi kajian di temu bual. Perisian NVivo pula digunakan untuk memudahkan proses analisis data, bagi mengenal pasti dan membangunkan tema atau kod yang berkaitan dengan subjek yang dikaji. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan cabaran yang dilalui oleh institusi berkenaan adalah bermula dengan aspek yang berkaitan dengan sikap pekerja sendiri, beban kerja yang berat, dan kekurangan Latihan berkaitan dengan SPK. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat menyuntik sumbangan yang signifikan dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teori pengurusan kualiti Islam dengan lebih mendalam.

The use of appropriate style of language or Uslub, in an expression, as employed in the Quran verses, plays an important role in effective communication of the message. Isti’arah, as one of the various styles of language in the Quranic language, is the focus of this study. Isti’arah is part of the component of “Bayan” in Arabic Balaghah, and forms a branch of knowledge within the context of styles of language, that contributes to the status of the Quran as a miracle. Isti’arah is also viewed as a prominent comparative factor which is able to capture the hearts and minds of mankind. The objective of this research is to investigate the implied meanings of Quranic verses through Isti’arah/styles of language, besides revisiting viewpoints of previous Balaghah scholars for the benefits of the present generation. Through Isti’arah, related Majaz expressions, which normally require higher imaginative capacities and insights, would be able to be understood. This study analyzes nine verses in Chapter Two of the Quran. The findings revealed that Balaghah Isti’arah plays an important role in ensuring that the message of the Quran verses is meaningful and conveyed effectively. Thus the position of Isti’arah, in particular, and Balaghah Al-Quran in general, are part of I’jaz Al-Quran, which has been proven that no man can challenge. It is an important aspect to be known, not only by learners of the Arabic language and religious studies, but also by every Muslim.

The MS 1900 Shariah-Based Quality Management System is implemented in various sectors in Malaysia including the public service, corporate, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, higher education, Islamic administrative agencies and zakat centers. The objective of this present research is to study the achievement of Maqasid Shariah through the implementation of Shariah-Based Quality Management System MS 1900. The institution selected for this study is the Melaka Zakat Center. This study employed a qualitative approach by involving informants consisting of management and officers involved in MS 1900 implementation. The findings show that the implementation of MS 1900 has helped achieve Maqasid Shariah which is to preserve the interests of the society through the preservation of faith, life, intellect, lineage and property. The findings of this study have contributed to the development of knowledge regarding the implementation of the Shariah-based Quality Management System in assisting Maqasid Shariah achievement in Malaysia.

The purpose of this study was to analyse some aspect of defence and war strategy in the battles of Badr and Uhud that was being planned and lead by Prophet Muhammad PBUH in ensuring fair justice and human rights for Islamic expansion. His details and well arranged plans had formed up the formidable force to oppose the enemy's threat. The effective strategy by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH had defeated the enemy in the battlefield. The Prophet had successfully imparted the greatness of moral values and strong spirits that molded his soldiers to be psychologically and physically strong. The Muslim soldiers successfully fought in the battlefield due to their embracing of the teaching of al-Koran and learning from the leadership of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The Prophet outlined laws and rule of war to ensure fair justice and to avoid discrimination among the prisoners of war. For every military action the Prophet Muhammad PBUH applied Musyawarah among his companions. With the message of Allah to go for war, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH had shown proper concept of war such as to follow the laws and rules of war, human rights, justice and not allowing revenge, aggressiveness, and hostilities except against wrongdoers. Therefore, this article highlights the defence and war strategy, techniques and tactics and other relevant factors that led to the victory of Muslim soldiers in the battles.
