Di antara cabaran terbesar yang dihadapi oleh penghafaz al-Quran adalah mengingati ayat–ayat mutashabih lafaz, iaitu ayat-ayat al-Quran yang sama atau hampir sama dari sudut lafaznya. Kesukaran dalam menghafaz dan mengingati ayat-ayat mutashabih lafaz ini menuntut kepada kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran khusus sama ada dari pihak institusi tahfiz, guru dan juga pelajar. Justeru, objektif kajian adalah untuk mengenal pasti kaedah hafazan di kalangan pelajar tahfiz al-Quran terhadap ayat mutashabih lafaz, dengan menjadikan Darul Quran Jakim dan Jabatan al-Quran dan al-Qiraat KUIS sebagai lokasi kajian. Kajian ini dibina berdasarkan metodologi kualitatif yang menggunakan kaedah temubual separa berstruktur sebagai instumen kajian. 30 orang pelajar tahfiz institusi tersebut dipilih sebagai peserta kajian. Kajian ini mendapati bahawa tahap penguasaan hafazan ayat mutashabih lafaz dalam kalangan pelajar adalah lemah dan tiada bahan pembelajaran khusus bagi menangani permasalahan tersebut. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Methods of Memorizing Mutashabihat Verses: Study on Darul Quran, JAKIM and Department of al-Quran and al-Qiraat KUIS(Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, 2021) ;Abd Muhaimin Ahmad ;Muhammad Hafiz Saleh ;Muhammad Arif Musa ;Norazman AliasKhairul Anuar MuhammadThere are challenges in memorizing the Quran and therefore it requires an effective and systematic method to facilitate students to memorize as well to retain the Quran. Among the biggest challenge faced by a student is to remember the mutashabihat verses which appear to be like one another. The difficulty in memorizing and remembering the mutashabih lafaz verses requires specific teaching and learning methods from the institutions of tahfiz, teachers and students. However, how far this matter is addressed seriously at the institutional of tahfiz is still questionable. Therefore, the objective of the study is to identify the methods of memorization among students tahfiz on the mutashabih lafaz verse, by making Darul Quran Jakim and Department of al-Quran and al-Qiraat, KUIS as research locations. This study was developed based on qualitative method using semi structured interviews as research instrument. 30 tahfiz students from both institutions were selected as participants. The study found that the most frequently methods used were; 1. Identifying the mutashabihat verses and making relevant notes during the memorization and revision sessions, 2. Referring to Quranic exegesis or translation to understand the meaning of the verses, 3. Repeating as much as possible with a focus on the mutashabihat verses. The study also found that no specific reference or book was used in both institutions to overcome the difficulty of memorizing the mutashabihat verses. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Among the biggest challenge faced by a student is to remember the mutashabih lafaz verses which appear to be similar to one another. The difficulty in memorizing and remembering the mutashabih lafaz verses requires specific teaching and learning methods from the institutions of tahfiz, teachers and students. Therefore, the objective of the study is to identify the accentuation and implementation of teaching mutashabih lafaz verse in tahfiz institutions and their lecturers, by making Darul Quran Jakim and Department of al-Quran and al-Qiraat, KUIS as research locations. This study was developed based on qualitative method using semi structured interviews as research instrument. Two experienced tahfiz teachers from each institution were selected as participants. The study found that there is no reference book nor specific teaching method been used officially in teaching mutashabih lafaz verses, even though the quality of memorization of these verses among students is weak. The difficulty in memorising and remembering the mutashabihat verses require specific teaching and learning methods from the tahfiz institutions, teachers and students. However, to what extent this matter is addressed seriously at tahfiz institutions still remains a question. Therefore, the objective of the study is to identify the issues and problems in teaching and memorising the mutashabihat verses among tahfiz lecturers and students. The study selected Darul Quran Jakim and Department of al-Quran and al-Qiraat, Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor as the research locations. This study was developed based on the qualitative method using semi-structured interviews as the research instrument. Four experienced tahfiz lecturers and 30 tahfiz students from both institutions were selected as participants. Among the issues and problems that has been found regarding to the mutashabihat verses are: 1) no specific reference book to assist students to identify mutashabihat verses, 2) lack of focus given on the verses during tasmi’ sessions.
