Publication Aplikasi Khusyuk Solat Menerusi Pendekatan Teknik Biofeedback(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2014) ;Norsuhaila Musa ;Mohamad Hilmi Bin Mat SaidMuhammad Nubli Abdul WahabTo be recognized as a successful believer of god, engrossed in prayers is the key factor that has a positive impact on the individual’s prayers. Allah says in Surah Al - Mukminun 1-2 verse that: “Successful indeed are the believers, those who humble themselves in their prayers. “Although the concentration is not within the conditions of the pillars of prayer and it does not mean we can belittle it but it is still a claim. There are various ways and methods which are presented as a guide to the implementation of the humble and perfect prayers. But there is no method for measurement that can assess the level of concentration an individual is trying to achieve during prayers. The effectiveness of teaching about prayers can be evaluated through an assessment conducted on each student individually and collectively. The evaluation includes mastery of the three pillars in the prayer. Thus the researcher’s humble opinion is if the elements( what three elements) were incorporated in the existing assessment ,certainly without any doubt students will gain exposure to the performance of more perfect prayers. This study introduces an additional technique for the assessment of prayers. The assessment process undertaken includes the use of an complete inventory conducted on prayers both orally and in practical . The students performance of prayer are also evaluated using biofeedback techniques. Through this technique, the level of psychophysiology students are tracked using the emWave biofeedback equipment. Data is taken during students performing their prayers from the performance Heart Rate variability (HRV). Data acquisition process involves 20 students who are assessed during their prayers. The results showed that the technique is capable of measuring the extent students master their obligatory humble prayers. The study was also able to detect a balance in the HRV spectrum while performing prayers. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication Kajian Penggunaan Permainan Puzzle dan Latihan Biofeedback Dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Matematik Pelajar Sekolah Rendah(USIM Press, 2022) ;Ahmad OmarMuhammad Nubli Abdul WahabVarious techniques have been used to improve the performance of students who are weak in learning. This study aims to explore how Puzzle training techniques and Biofeedback training can be used to help students to improve coherence score performance and also academic performance. Previous studies proved that Puzzle training can help individuals to improve concentration. Biofeedback training techniques also help individuals to improve their cognitive performance and concentration. Biofeedback exercises are combined with resonant breathing exercises to help students to improve Heart Rate Variability “HRV” coherence scores. The use of resonant breathing exercises had previously been shown to help individuals to improve coherence scores. The sample of this study consisted of 40 low-achieving students from primary schools in the district of Jerantut, Pahang. They were randomly selected and divided into two groups, a Training Group (n=20) and a Control Group (n=20). Students underwent 2 puzzle training sessions and Biofeedback training for 3 minutes each session. Collected self-change data involved analysis of VLF, LF, and HF power spectrum scores. Data analysis of the mean HRV spectrum score and pre/post test was used to see the increase in HRV score and academic improvement of the students. Findings show that there is an increase in students' HRV scores and academic performance for students who follow the Puzzle training and Biofeedback training compared to students who do not follow the Training. This study concludes that puzzle training techniques and Biofeedback training can be used as effective approaches to help weak students in improving coherence scores and subsequently helping them in academic achievement. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Psychological Perspectives Toward Student's Incompetency In Foreign Language Course(Malaysian Journal of Social Sciences and Humanitie, 2021); ;Rezki Perdani Sawai ;Shahirah Sulaiman ;Khairul Anuar Rahimi ;Joki Perdani SawaiMuhammad Nubli Abdul WahabLearning a foreign language enables learners to go further after graduation. In today’s world, there is a need for students to be able to communicate in at least one foreign language so that they can function well globally. This study investigates learning the German language among engineering students who are taking a dual degree program in a public university in east coast Malaysia. The objectives of thestudy were: (a) to determine the students’ attitude in learning German language; (b) gauge their understanding of the course in terms of materials and lessons used in learning the language; and (c) identify their motivation and performances taking German language. Using a descriptive research design, 60 students were involved as respondents in this study. Their responses to the researchers’ questionnaire were gathered in a WhatsApp group called Success German Course (SGC). The results of the study indicated that students demonstrated moderate attitude in learning the course since some of them were eager to learn the language while others were not. Some students reported failing to understand the course in the use of the current materials and lessons. Although they showed positive attitude in learning the course, their performances, nevertheless, were not encouraging because they did not have sufficient time to learn the language. It is concluded that students need to learn study skills to help them to be more competence in foreign language proficiency. The overall findings implied that there is a possibility that the curricula need to be revisited to suit the learning needs of the students. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication The Use of Biofeedback Training Techniques for Improving Heart Rate Variability Scores and Achievements in Science Subjects among Primary School Students(HRMARS (www.hrmars.com), 2023) ;Hasmiza Yaakob ;Muhammad Nubli Abdul Wahab; ;Is’haq IbrahimMohd Ropizam Mohamad ZainunBiofeedback training techniques can help to improve students’ achievement levels in a subject. Accordingly, this study investigates differences in HRV scores between high- and low-performing students. This quasi-experimental quantitative study involved conducting pre- and post-tests on students who received biofeedback training during their science-learning integration process. The results show that students with good performance had better coherence scores compared to the poor performers. This is due to the regulation of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems among them. However, following biofeedback training, it was found that the higher HRV scores of the poor performing students exceeded that of the good performing students. This shows that they can compete with good performing students provided they receive more specific guidance. The findings of the study show that the HRV biofeedback training technique is suitable for use in helping rural primary school students improve their achievement in science and other subjects which require more effective alignment of learning techniques.
