Publication Community And Legal Right On Elderly Care(HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ACADEMIC RESEARCH SOCIETY, 2024) ;Amran Abdul Halim ;Norazmi Anas ;Amiruddin Mohd. Sobali ;Abdulloh Salaeh ;Syed Najihuddin Syed HassanMohd Izzuddin Agiman@AzmanFrom an Islamic standpoint, the obligation to care for the elderly is incumbent upon adult children for the duration of their elders' lives, necessitating a profound commitment. This responsibility often requires adjustments in the children's lifestyle to accommodate the needs of their elders. We are to instill a sense of duty and affection towards the elderly and to raise awareness in the community about the significance of parental care, particularly from an Islamic perspective. Hence, this study aims to discusses the elderly care from Islamic perspectives, also the relationship Muslim community with elderly, and the legal right of elderly in Islam. The intersection of community values and legal rights plays a crucial role in ensuring proper care for the elderly. Communities serve as the backbone of support, fostering environments where older individuals feel valued, respected, and included. This involves not only familial care but also broader societal structures that prioritize the well-being of elderly members. Legal frameworks serve to formalize and protect the rights of the elderly, ensuring access to essential services, healthcare, and protections against abuse or neglect. By enshrining these rights into law, societies acknowledge the inherent dignity and worth of older individuals, affirming their entitlement to care and support. The synergy between community values and legal rights is essential for addressing the complex challenges associated with elderly care. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Elderly Care For Low-income Households (B40) In Malaysia: Intergenerational Relations In Reference To Sunnah Nabawiyyah(Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, 2020) ;Norazmi Anas ;Anaztasia Natasha Muhamad Ramlan ;Zakiah Samori ;Ishak SuliamanAmran Abdul HalimThe negligence cases of senior citizen are estimated at about 675,000 cases or equivalent to almost 30% of senior citizens in Malaysia. They seemed to be stemming from the attitudes of society who are too career-driven and focused on luxurious lives at the expense of their elderly, considering them to be burdens due to high cost of living and cost of medical care i.e. medicine. Hence, the writing of this paper aims to discuss the issues, challenges and realities of elderly care, primarily for the lower income group (B40) in Malaysia as well as intergenerational relationships from the perspective of sunnah nabawiyyah, since the mistreatment and negligence of senior citizens is contrary to the Islamic law that has bestowed responsibility for the care of elderly parents on their children. Not only that efforts of all parties such as the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM), the National Social Institute, the Human Rights Commission (SUHAKAM) and the Social Welfare Department (JKM) need to be enhanced for the senior citizens in Malaysia, but also the studies related to it need to be intensified so as to avoid this group from being neglected. This is in conformity with the main policy of the Malaysian government through the National Social Policy (DSN), the National Policy for the Elderly (DWEN) and the National Senior Citizens Action Plan (PTWEN), besides demonstrating commitment towards the elderly contained in the PH PRU-14 manifesto as the core of our new Malaysian government and parallel with the Industrial Revolution 5.0 targeting the "Super Smart Society" as a result of increased value to society - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Examining The Acceptance Of Tarannum Smart Learning Application Using Diffusion Of Innovation Model(International Journal of Religion, 2024) ;Mohd Zaini Bin Zakaria ;Nur Suhaili Mansor ;Hapini Awang ;Nurul Auji Hasbullah ;Ahmad Sanusi AzmiNorazmi AnasThis paper presents a study aimed at developing a realistic model for understanding users' intention to use Smart Learning Application (SLA). SLA provides users with an intelligent learning platform that enables effective learning management, user-centered networking of intelligent devices, and rapid learning from any location. However, despite the advantages of SLA, its use is not widely accepted. The study used a quantitative approach, and data was collected from 229 respondents using a survey. SmartPLS (v. 3.2.8) was used to examine the relationships between the variables in the proposed model. The study developed a comprehensive model based on DOI that addressed users' intention to use SLA. The findings indicated that the direct influence of Relative Advantage, Compatibility, and Complexity on users' intention to use Tarannum Smart Learning Application (TSLA) was not significant, and hypotheses H1, H2, and H3 were not supported. However, hypothesis H4, which postulated a significant relationship between Observability and Intention to Use, was supported. The proposed model can be used as a basis for improving the learning of various types of tarannum by teachers teaching the holy Quran. The study can be expanded to other Smart Learning Applications to validate the findings and identify more opportunities. TSLA, by design, promotes human-oriented networking of smart devices and applications, making it a suitable tool for encouraging active users. Longitudinal data may be necessary to investigate the variables that impact people's acceptance level of TSLA. The technical implementation of TSLA from a policy maker's viewpoint can beexplored in future studies. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Genealogy Of The Prophet: Reassessing Ibn Saʿd’s Qur’anic Reference In Sira Nabawiyya(International Journal of Religion, 2024) ;Ahmad Sanusi Azmi ;Norazmi Anas ;Amran Abdul Halim ;Mohd Nor Adzhar IbrahimKhairul Aiman Wan MokhtarGenealogy plays a crucial role in historiography. An account of genealogy serves as an instrument to legalize kinship in the Arab tribal world. One of the most important aspects in understanding the history of Prophet Muḥammad’s life (the Sīra Nabawiyya) is his genealogy. It is not an exaggeration to say that almost all the biographies of Muḥammad commence their discussion by introducing his lineage, including Ibn Sa’d, one of the prominent figures in Islamic historiography. The present study seeks to explore Ibn Saʿd’s hermeneutical response to and understanding of Qur’ānic reference to the Prophet’s genealogy. It will also analyse for what specific reasons these understandings were developed in its socio-religious contexts. The study is qualitative in nature and is one in which the researcher will employ both descriptive and source-critical approaches. The study in its findings argues for the appropriateness of using 26:219 as reference to the Prophet’s genealogy. Its analysis proposes that it was the influence of his master that leads Ibn Sa’d to invent the connection between the Prophet’s genealogy and the Qur’ān. Furthermore, his approach to ‘Qur’ānise’ the nature of the narrative appears to be another reason that influence Ibn Saʿd to create such connection. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Malek ;Ishak SuliamanAnaztasia Natasha Muhamad RamlanThe World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledges bullying as one of the world’s health problems, happening to children and teenagers in between the age of 11 – 17 as the harmed subjects. Cultural factor, social inequality, age gap, and obesity lead to such phenomenon. This scenario carries a serious and chronic damage to the subject’s mental and physical health, which could lead to death, especially in the global education sector. This study aims (i) To elaborate the bullying scenario signs that are happening in the educational industry, their connection to Islamic morals, and the latest trend of cyber bullying that threatens the lives of today’s society, and (ii) To recommend the construction of a new bullying prevention model based on sunnah nabawiyyah. Other than that, the research on six bullying prevention models now in use across the globe revealed no reference of spirituality or religion as the models' underlying principles. Therefore, the creation of a model to avoid bullying based on sunnah nabawiyyah is necessary and advised in the educational field, particularly in this country. This is in line with the Shared Prosperity Vision (SPV) 2030, the National Social Policy (NSP), and the Malaysian Education Blueprint (MEB) 2013 – 2025. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Penilaian Semula Asmaul Husna Menurut Ibn Hajar(USIM Press, 2021) ;Wan Kamal Nadzif Wan Jamil ;Roshimah Shamsudin ;Norazmi Anas ;Shahril Nizam ZulkipliArnie AdnanDebates regarding the beautiful names of Allah has sparked off since the early age of Islam until now. Only three narrations that counting these Names which were narrated by al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and al-Hakim. Other narrations only quote that the almighty God has 99 beautiful names without counting and specify it. Ibn Hajar was among the early scholar who has criticised narrations that specifically counting these names. By using the comparative narration approach and analysing each of these narrations the objective of study is to study similarities and differences between these names. It was discovered that all the narration counting the names is not originated from the Prophet but an opinion (ijtihad) from the narrator himself that has been inserted (mudraj) into the hadith. 27 names should be adjusted according to Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Perception and Prevalence of Bullying in Malaysian Higher Education: A Multifaceted Analysis(Institute of Advanced Science Extension (IASE), 2023) ;Amran Abdul Halim ;Norazmi Anas ;Zulkifli Mohd Ghazali ;Mohd Ahsani A. Malek ;Ishak Suliaman ;Ahmad Sanusi AzmiShahril Nizam ZulkipliThe escalating incidence of bullying cases within Malaysian higher education institutions underscores a disconcerting trend that arises from the confluence of academic pressures, financial strains, relational intricacies, and identity conflicts among students. This unsettling phenomenon engenders not only physical harm and emotional distress but, alarmingly, fatalities as well. In response, the imperative to curtail this deleterious spread through preemptive measures has prompted institutions to engage in student surveys. This research endeavors to illuminate the panorama of bullying perceptions prevailing among students within selected Malaysian higher education institutions. Employing a comprehensive analytical framework encompassing descriptive statistics, crosstabulation, independent samples t-test, and one-way ANOVA, this study scrutinizes the multifaceted dynamics underpinning bullying trends. Employing a combination of convenience sampling and online survey techniques, a cohort of 561 participants was garnered from four distinct higher learning establishments: Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS), and University of Malaya (UM). The outcomes of this investigation delineate a landscape in which bullying remains a persistent concern within the selected higher education institutions. Of particular significance is the perceptual contrast exhibited by bullies as compared to their peers, with the former demonstrating higher levels of support for bullying behavior. Consequently, institutional administrations are impelled to undertake comprehensive initiatives to comprehensively catalog instances of bullying, spanning both psychological and physical manifestations. These findings underscore the gravity of the issue and underscore the urgency for institutions to adopt proactive strategies to mitigate bullying, thereby cultivating environments conducive to holistic student well-being and nurturing scholastic excellence. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication Principles Of Prophetic Medicine According To Mahmud Nazhim Al-nasimi(INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF RELIGION, 2024); ;Mohd Nor Adzhar Ibrahim ;Muhammad Fawwaz Muhammad Yusof ;Mohd Zahir Abdul RahmanNorazmi AnasProphetic medicine describes various methods of treatment and prevention of diseases recommended by the Prophet SAW. The Prophet was seen suggesting the use of certain natural ingredients such as honey, tamar and al-habbah al-sauda' to the his companions as a solution to their health problems. Recently, this aspect of holiness that accompanies the Prophet's words has been exploited by some parties with the aim of promoting their products that contain the ingredients mentioned in the hadith. Some traders who sell these ingredients directly are also seen not to be left behind in publicizing the business with the same modus operandi. Not only that, some of the generality of the hadith phrases of the Prophet (SAW) are also used arbitrarily to gain the interest of the buyers without taking the understanding of Islamic scholars and modern medical experts as a backup in interacting with the relevant hadiths. The objective of this article is to highlight the principles of prophetic medicine as espoused by Mahmud Nazhim al-Nasimi in his work "Al-Tibb al-Nabawi wa al-'Ilm al- Hadith". The analysis is done based on deductive approach and comparison of the principles he has proposed with the comments of Islamic scholars in the works of hadith compilations. The results of the study found that the principles of prophetic medicine stated by al-Nasimi such as the incorporation of elements of revelation and ijtihad in prophetic medicine were found to be in line with the ideas that had been stated by some early Islamic scholars. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication A Review Of The Islamic Tarbiyah System For Bullying Symptoms(Management Academic Research Society Exploring Int, 2023) ;Amran Abdul Halim ;Norazmi Anas ;Mohamad Qamarulzaman Mohamad Zani ;Ahmad Kamel Mohamed ;Mohd Syukri Mohd Noor ;Walid Mohd SaidHelimy ArisBullying is a symptom that must be avoided and addressed to prevent serious physical injuries that could lead to death. In addition, it could negatively affect the mental or emotional wellbeing of victims. Despite a variety of psychological and counseling methods to deal with these symptoms, cases of bullying have increased over time, especially in global education. In view of this background, this study is conducted with the aims to elaborate the bullying concepts that threaten the lives of today’s society, and to review the Islamic Tarbiyah system for bullying symptoms. The findings of this study revealed that a Tarbiyah system based on education is the most effective way to resolve bullying issues, problems, and symptoms. This is due to the fact that the Tarbiyah Islamiyah approach gives special focus to the provision of care, education, and upbringing based on the divine revelation sources of al-Quran al-Karim and the Sunnah of Rasulullah SAW. According to Ibn Qayyim al Jauzi's ideas, which were written and explained by Hasan bin Ali Hasan al-Hijazy in his work Manhaj Tarbiyah Ibn Qayyim, there are nine (9) types of Tarbiyah namely: (i) Tarbiyah Imaniyah (Educating Faith), (ii) Tarbiyah Ruhiyah (Spiritual Education), (iii) Tarbiyah Fikriyah (Educating the Mind), (iv) Tarbiyah ‘Athifiyah (Educating of Feelings), (v) Tarbiyah Khuluqiyah (Educating Morals), (vi) Tarbiyah Ijtimaiyah (Educating the Community), (vii) Tarbiyah Iradiyah (Educating Ideals), (viii) Tarbiyah Badaniyah (Physical Education), and (xi) Tarbiyah Jinsiyah (Sex Education). This study further recommends that in order to reduce bullying symptoms and create a more stable, harmonious and safer living environment, the tarbiyah system should be used in Islam as one of its methods of education. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Students’ Perceptions of Islamic Elderly Care Website(Human Resource Management Academic Research Society, 2021) ;Amran Abdul Halim ;Norazmi Anas ;Ahmad Sanusi Azmi ;Adnan Mohamed Yusoff ;Amiruddin Mohd Sobali ;Shahril Nizam Zulkipli ;Mohd Syukri Mohd NoorAnaztasia Natasha Muhamad RamlanSenior citizens are those in the age group of 60 years old and above who require attention and close care in reference to aspects such as motivation, accommodation, spirituality, emotional support system and security. At present, the development of websites in relation to senior citizens centers solely on features dealing with facilities, amenities and health. Hence, leaving out the critical spiritual/religious element that operates as lifeline of well-being for the elderly that is essential to produce a healthy group of elderly people who are spiritually sound based on religion. On this account, the study is dedicated to identify content and evaluate Muslim elderly care website from the perception of students. The case study began by identifying the selected Muslim elderly care website’s content, followed by an online questionnaire by means of Google Forms to 60 respondents of Sunnah and Information Management Program students from Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM). Descriptive analysis was utilized for the data analysis process assisted by version 26 of IBM SPSS. The study’s findings found that the website under observation has created five main menu sites namely: (i) Home, (ii) Definition, (iii) Islamic perspective, (iv) Abuse of the elderly and (v) Suggestion. Feedback gained have revealed that this platform has proven to be highly beneficial and suitable for the community as well as able to increase public awareness and understanding of elderly care from an Islamic perspective. Nevertheless, the website is lacking features like video and audio to draw users’ interest to face the challenges of caring for the elderly in today's digital age; hence, stands in need of enhancement.
