For Islam, its scholars categorically refute any such claim regarding its Holy Scripture, the Quran. They instead believe that the knowledge contents of the Quran cannot be contradictory to any established scientific fact, and it is a source of unity in diversity of knowledge. This study focuses on retrieving information from Quranic content of economics to explore this unity. Many forms of applications are available to retrieve information from Quran. Most of these have been semantic searches rather than thematic. To fill this gap, this paper develops an ontology for economic related verses of the Quran. Using data reduction, data clustering, authenticity verification, and data retrieval we obtained a better human-computer interaction for understanding the Quranic dimension of knowledge integration. 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication A literature review of spiritual psychotherapy using Quran recitation in the treatment of drug addiction(American Scientific Publishers, 2017) ;Amin, M. Z. M. It does not show any sign of ceasing thus it has been declared as the number one enemy. Drug addiction is considered to be one of the national security threats and the efforts and measures to curb this problem often require high costs. The efforts, however, seems to be counterproductive. The high addiction relapse rates and rising number of addiction cases show that the existing treatments are not really effective. On the other hand, spiritual therapy is observed to be more effective in the prevention and treatment of drug addiction. It is also capable of resolving the high relapse rate. The combination of the various methods of spiritual psychotherapy is expected to produce the best drug addiction therapy model. Due to the expected successful outcome in spiritual therapy, there are efforts to integrate the spiritual therapy concept and religious belief. Quran recitation has been identified as a cure of physical or mental illnesses, including drug addiction issue. Studies show that the soul which is calm, promotes the development of a better person in one self. The root cause of the drug addiction is the lack of sufficient spiritual strength. Thus, the treatment process will be effective if it involves spiritual healing by counselling and therapy. The qualitative research based on textual analysis of the library data shows that there is a number of research which has been made on general spiritual psychotherapy for drug addiction, by understanding its meaning, internalization of hadith, zikir, dua (prayers) and holistically applying Islamic teachings in ones acts. It is also discovered that there are studies conducted on the application of Quran verses in treatment of other illnesses, but it is not specifically applicable to the treatment of drug addiction. However, there is a gap in the aspect of drug addiction treatment and relevant Quranic verses to the treatment. Therefore, this study attempts to identify the appropriate Quran verses to be used in spiritual psychotherapy of drug addiction. 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Although relatively few scientific studies have been done on the date palm, many very promising beneficial properties are shown and further work should be done to highlight the benefits of this important plant. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

To attain this aim, it explores a new model for indexing the ‘Prophetic traditions’ based on its scientific content specifically issues related to medical sciences. This study used qualitative methods to analyse the content related to medical sciences in the most authentic compilations on Prophetic traditions namely Sahih al-Bukhari. All scientific content related to science are enlisted according to sub-areas of modern medical sciences. The used sub-areas are provided by the Malaysian Development Research Classification System 5th Edition through MOSTI. It is expected that this index could be a helpful tool for scientists to discover new domains in their discipline. Likewise, it would provide an avenue to the scholars of Islamic Prophetic traditions to review and renew the existing knowledge in their field. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The method of preaching used by the preachers to teach the rulings and regulations in Islam related to halal and haram (prohibited and permissible) was not in accordance with the method of taysir. It has led to a negative perspective of Islam that made the Indigenous People feel sceptical and afraid to embrace Islam. They were afraid that it would affect their lifestyles. This taysir method of Halal and Haram is believed as a better alternative to approach Indigenous People in Malaysia. This qualitative research is conducted to examine the hurdles and obstacles Indigenous People faces to embrace and practice Islam, especially in practicing the rule of halal and haram by using the librarys reference method. The research also aims to overcome the problems by suggesting a new approach of preaching by considering the method of taysir Previous research found that the new model of taysir halal and haram could be successfully applied by including: (1) The diversity of schools of fiqh, (2) Methods of Islamic Principles especially on darurah, (3) The discussion of rukhsah, (4) The priority of fiqh al-awlawiyyat, and (5) Maqasid al-Syariah together with it. The result could lead to the development of a new model for teaching Indigenous People to understand and practice Islam in a better way. 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
