- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Development Of An Integrated Graduate Portal (IGP) For Graduate Marketability(Institute of Research and Journals, 2017) ;Khairi Abdulrahim ;Salakotaofiqat Adebosola ;Shaharudin IsmailZul Hilmi AbdullahGraduate marketability has become a critical issue as many graduates have problem in getting employed after completing their study in the university. This is mainly due to their inability to showcase their achievements and market their skills properly to prospective employers. This study firstly identifies the user requirements from all identified stakeholders, and secondly, based on these findings, develops a portal prototype that incorporates the integrated features called the Integrated Graduate Portal (IGP). Finally, the study evaluates the use of the IGP in facilitating graduate marketability. The aims of this portal are to facilitate graduate marketability by showcasing graduates’ contents and skills using electronic portfolio (e-portfolio), to employers, and to reduce the communication gap between the employers, graduates and their university. Two phases of survey were conducted for this study. The first one was conducted to identify and gather the user requirements from all identified stakeholders (graduates, employers, lecturers and administrator). These requirements were analyzed and carefully selected prior to incorporating them during the development of the portal. Once the IGP prototype was developed, the second survey was conducted to evaluate the use of IGP to facilitate graduate marketability. The evaluation results showed that the IGP may help to facilitate graduate marketability. It was found that integration features such as graduates’ e-portfolios, employers’ job requirements information, verification of graduates’ content by lecturers, and collaboration of graduates, employers and university in the IGP, are features that may aid graduates to facilitate their marketability. In conclusion, it is hoped that the use of the IGP may help the graduates to facilitate their marketability and bridge the communication gap between the graduates, employers, lecturers and university, therefore improving the interaction and collaboration between all stakeholders. Index terms- Electronic portfolio (e-portfolio), graduate marketability, Integrated Graduate Portal (IGP). - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Document Forensic, The Fiqh And The Syariah Courts(Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, 2015) ;Wan Abdul Fattah Wan Ismail ;Lukman Abdul Mutalib ;Zul Hilmi Abdullah ;Nurfadhilah Che Amani ;Abd Hamid Abd MuradMadihah Mohammad KhirTechnological progress has made falsification of documents increasingly sophisticated and the need for forensic experts or Ra'yu al-Khabir indispensable in the Syariah Courts. This paper discusses the concept and methods of forensic document authentication by experts according to the Islamic law (fiqh). This study combined quantitative and qualitative approaches whereby 181 key informants comprising randomly sampled syariah and civil law experts and practitioners underwent in-depth interviews . Content analysis of the study revealed that respondent knowledge of document authentication methods according to the Islamic law was at the intermediate level with the mean = 3.59 and sd = 0.63 which was not enough to help the Syariah Courts cope with the rapid increase in the falsification rate of documents. This situation needs urgent redress and calls for the establishment of a comprehensive forensic model to provide adequate guidelines for judges and practitioners of the Syariah Courts - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication An Efficient Framework To Build Up Malware Dataset(World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology, 2013) ;Madihah Mohd SaudiZul Hilmi AbdullahThis research paper presents a framework on how to build up malware dataset. Many researchers took longer time to clean the dataset from any noise or to transform the dataset into a format that can be used straight away for testing. Therefore, this research is proposing a framework to help researchers to speed up the malware dataset cleaning processes which later can be used for testing. It is believed, an efficient malware dataset cleaning processes, can improved the quality of the data, thus help to improve the accuracy and the efficiency of the subsequent analysis. Apart from that, an in-depth understanding of the malware taxonomy is also important prior and during the dataset cleaning processes. A new Trojan classification has been proposed to complement this framework. This experiment has been conducted in a controlled lab environment and using the dataset from Vx Heavens dataset. This framework is built based on the integration of static and dynamic analyses, incident response method and knowledge database discovery (KDD) processes. This framework can be used as the basis guideline for malware researchers in building malware dataset. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication An Efficient Trojan Horse Classification (ETC)(International Journal of Computer Science Issues Press, 2013) ;Areej Mustafa Abuzaid ;Madihah Mohd Saudi ;Bachok M TaibZul Hilmi AbdullahFor the past few years, malware or also known as malicious code is seen as one of the biggest threats of the cyber attacks. It has caused lot of damages, loss of money and productivity to many organizations and end users. Malicious code can be divided into many categories such as viruses, worms and trojan horses. Each of these categories has it owns implications and threats, and trojan horse has been chosen as the domain of this research paper. Prior to the formation of a new trojan horse detection model, an in-depth study and investigation of the existing trojan horse classification is presented in this paper. Surprisingly, not much research related with trojan horse has been done. On 16th January 2013, Troj/Invo- Zip has caused chaos by masquerading as an invoice from Europcar and spreading via email. Therefore, in this research paper, a new trojan horse classification called Efficient Trojan Horse Classification (ETC) is developed. This ETC later is used as a basis to build a model to detect trojan horse efficiently. The methods used to develop the ETC are the static and dynamic analyses. As for the dynamic analysis, cuckoo sandbox has been integrated to speed up the analysis and reverse engineering processes. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication A Survey of NewSQL DBMSs focusing on Taxonomy, Comparison and Open Issues(SANDKRS sdn bhd., 2021-12) ;Waidah Ismail ;Abdullah Muhammed ;Zul Hilmi Abdullah ;Abduljalil Radman ;Rimuljo HendradiRadhi Rafiee AfandiAdvancements in internet, cloud, and business intelligence technologies, as well as the emergence of big data, have caused massive traffic in online transaction processing (OLTP) systems. All these impose the needs for effective and efficient data storage and processing which is not available in conventional Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMSs). In the year 2000, a new generation of database management systems (DBMSs) called Not Only Structured Query Language (NoSQL) has emerged to address the scalability of OLTP workloads in a way that was impossible for conventional relational database management systems (RDBMSs). Despite adequately addressing issues linked to scalability and producing better read-write performance than RDBMS, NoSQL DBMSs appear to lack in providing definite assurance of data consistency. Hence, a newer DBMS alternative called NewSQL has emerged. NewSQL DBMS has combined the advantages of both conventional RDBMS and NoSQL. They have the scalable performance of NoSQL DBMSs and the data consistency of traditional RDBMS. To date, there are tens of existing NewSQL-DBMSs, so it is difficult to understand the difference between them, and it is also quite challenging to decide the best solution for a specific task. Hence, this paper presents a comprehensive review concerning NewSQL DBMSs by emphasizing the following purposes:(1) providing researchers and practitioners guidance that may assist in selecting the most appropriate NewSQL-DBMS, (2) classifying NewSQL-DBMSs based on internal implantation and number of tiers, (3) providing comparisons and analyses of query capabilities, technical characteristics, and security attributes of the prominent NewSQL-DBMSs, and finally, (4) identifying issues and challenges raised with the emergence of NewSQL-DBMSs. In conclusion, NewSQL DBMSs can offers solutions for fault tolerance, horizontal scalability features.
