Apart from that, interview between researcher and experts interpretation and hadith theologian and SIS's representative also was held in order to discuss authoritative methodology which could become solution point on issues aroused by SIS. 500 questionaires also was distributed to measure how far SIS's ideology influence society. The findings indicate that among the methods are being held by SIS while dealing with issues relating woman was they refering to Quranic verses only without looking related hadith. Apart from that, this organization seldom regard respect toward theologian views. More distressing, they only consider hadith mutawatir as authoritative hadith and reject hadith Ahad. They also do not refer books that describe the hadith deliberatively. Study also finds that number of community which influenced with SIS's ideology are very few. However, continuous monitoring by responsible party such as JAKIM on this organization should be done, so that their influence can be avoided from widelyspread.1 17 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Ajaran dan Pengaruh semasa Tasawwuf Shaykh Ahmad Al-Sirhindi di Negeri Kedah(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2009) ;Muhammad Khairi bin Mahyuddin ;Samsul Bahri bin Andi Galigo; Mohamed Rifai bin Mohamed AmeenThis research studies on the Sufi's thought of Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi (1564M-1624M), an Indian Sufi scholar in 16 century and his current influential teaching especially in Naqshabandiyyah Mujaddiyyah Ahmadiyyah Order. The practice in the order founded as having a strong impact from Sirhindi's thought which is compiled in his al-Maktubat as a way of purification of soul as well as a way to attain real Gnosis to Allah. The order is traced to be existed in the state of Kedah in the late of the 20 century and it is still accessible until today. An analytical comparison studies had been done toward scholarly writings by Kedah's scholar as well as the practice within Naqshabandiyyah Mujadidiyyah Ahmadiyyah order with al-Maktubat in order to evaluate how far Sirhindi's thought is applicable by the maslzaikh and the disciples of the order in the Kedah. Besides that, in order to know the genuine of Sirhindi's thought and legitimacy of his order whether in line within the majority prominent scholars of Ah1 al-Sunnah wa al- Jamaah or they have deviated from Islamic teaching, so a deep analysis has been made by comparing issues and the practice of the Naqshabandiyyah Mujadidiyyah Ahrnadiyyah with al-Quran, Hadis and other authenticable renowned classical books in Islam. This study hopes would be a great contribution to Muslim community to have correct understanding toward Sufi's role generally and the Naqshabandiyyah order particularly within the spirit of shariat Islarniyyah and the akidah of Ah1 al-Sunnah wa al-Jamaah in Malaysia12 15 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

This research aims to study the background of a1 durar a1 saniyyah's website, to evaluate the effectiveness of this website in teaching and learning for the takhrij hadith's subject, to study how far this website easy to be used, and to identify several advantages and weaknesses of this website. This research can be categorized as a field research which involve preparation of the report by a descriptive quantitative methodology. Hence, the instruments used in this research are through observations, questionnaires and interviews. This research clearly showed that a1 durar a1 saniyyah's website really contributes in takhrij hadith, and also beneficial in teaching and learning process. Beside, this website is easy to be understood and yet to be used. A few advantages and weaknesses of this web site had been notified as well. As a conclusion, a1 durar a1 saniyyah's website must be introduced among students as an instrument in teaching and learning for the takhrij hadith's subject, and as an instrument in takhrij hadith's process generally.6 29 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Synthesis Of Bis-Thiourea Derivatives And Studies On Its Application As Chemical SensorThree new bis-thiourea derivatives namely 1,2-bis(4-chlorobenzoylthiourea)-propane (S I), 1,4- bis(4-chlorobenzoylthiourea)-butane (S2) and 1,2-bis(4-chlorobenzoy1thiourea)-ethane (S3) were successfully synthesized by the reaction of the mixture of 4-chlorobenzoylchloride and ammonium thiocyanate with selected diamine compounds namely 1,2-diaminopropane, 1,4- diaminobutane and 1,2- diaminoethane. FTIR spectra of all the compounds show the presence of u (N-H), u (GO), u (C=S), u (C-N) stretching frequencies at 3173-3297 cm-', 1630-1672 cm", 843-846 cm-' and 1092-1094 cm-' respectively. Proton NMR spectra show the presence of three important chemical shifts in all the compounds : amino proton 6H (Nl) 11.33-1 1.38 ppm, 6H (N2) 10.77-10.86 ppm and 6H (aromatic proton) at 7.49-7.90 ppm. While "C NMR spetra show that the thiono, C=S and ketone, C=O chemical shifts at 180.06-1 81.18 ppm and 165.0- 167.29 ppm respectively. Solid-state ammonium ion sensors based on photocured poly(n-butyl acrylate) membrane with immobilized newly synthesized compounds were successfully used for the determination of ammonium ion. The sensor membrane does not require any plasticizer and the S1- and S2- based membrane electrodes gave near Nernstian responses (57.3 mV per decade and 50.6 mV per decade respectively) throughout the ammonium in concentration range of lo-' to loJ M with detection limits approaching 10" M ammonium ion. However, the S3- based electrode has a typical Nernstian response with a slope of of 35.6 mV per decade in the concentration range of 1 to 1 o-' M.25 18 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Perception Of Students And 'Teachers In The Use Of Print, Audio And Visual Literary Texts In The Teaching And Learning Of English And Arabic: A Case-Study At Selected Religious Secondary Schools In Selangor(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2009) ;Massari, Norhaili ;Behak, Fariza Puteh; ;Mohamad, Wan MoharaniIsmail, Muhammad ManvanMany researchers have revealed the advantages of using literary texts in the language classroom, predominantly as it contributes to language, cultural and personal growth. USIM students reported that when they were leaming English and Arabic in their secondary schools, they were more focused on the textbooks and hardly any literary texts were in use in the teaching and leaming of both languages. This study intended to investigate whether literary texts were used in the teaching and leaming (T&L) of English (ELC) and Arabic (ALC). Specifically, this study aimed to investigate the different types of print, audio and visual literary texts that have been used in the ELC and ALC as perceived by the teachers and students. It also intended to find out the perceptions of teachers and students regarding the use of literary texts in the T&L of ELC and ALC. This study focused on the perceptions of 167 Form Four students and the 16 English and Arabic language teachers teaching them, in the use of audio, print and visual literary texts in the teaching and learning (T&L) of English (ELC) and Arabic( ALC) at two religious secondary schools via questionnaires. The findings revealed that literary texts were used and perceived positively by teachers and students of ELC and ALC in general. This may provide a groundwork for further research investigations, for example; the use of literary texts with students' motivation or development of specific language skills such as vocabulary or critical thinking skills. The findings also show that the use of audio visual texts, particularly the use of non canonical texts or contemporary literary texts such as songs, video clips, comics and films are more popular in the T&L of ELC and ALC as compared to the print texts. Thus, researchers and practitioners could explore further on this phenomenon and how some of these materials can be incorporated more effectively in the English and Arabic language classroom. This study was unique as it provided the perceptions of students and teachers from the Malaysian experience, particularly of religious secondary schools in Selangor (as among future candidates to USIM), specifically in the use of print, audio and visual literary texts in the teaching and leaming of English and Arabic.2 21
