The idea of Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin is predominantly derived from Surah al-Anbiya, verse 107. The lexicon “rahmat” connotes various interpretations that include Islam and al-Qur’an. Meanwhile, al- Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) which contains principles and injunctions as a proclamation and guideline to mankind. This revelation intends to preserve the public interests while preventing from harm. The objective of this study is to analyse the appraisal of forensic science application within the context of justice. This study aims to appraise the nexus between concept Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin and al-Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah. This qualitative study used documentary research method in collecting primary and secondary data. The data have been analysed using content analysis method by adapting inductive reasoning. The appraisal of forensic science application within the context of justice indicates numbers of findings; the forensic science application is permissible in Islam. It also denotes forensic science have been long practiced since the prophet era, where numbers of forensic methods have been applied to uphold the justice at that time. Apart from that, there was also a nexus between the concept of Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin and al-Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah. The relation can be seen from the common purpose of both concepts which are preserving the public interest and preventing harm. Therefore, the application of forensic science shall be the meeting point between forensic science application, concept Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin and al-Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah. It bridges the gap between science and shariah. This study contributes in building the integration between science and shariah elements through application of forensic science and the concept of Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin. This study has also indirectly proved the concept of al-shumūl, al-thabāt, and al-murūnah in Islamic teachings that encompassed various fields of knowledge. This study suggests more research to be conducted in regards to the application of fiqh forensics in various field.

Pentafsiran Al-Quran telah dilakukan oleh ulama-ulama terdahulu di Nusantara sehingga mereka menterjemahkan bahasa Arab ke bahasa Melayu, khusunya di Pattani mereka juga mengajar tafsir kepada masyarakat setempat sehingga berkembang pada hari ini. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengkaji biografi tokoh dan membincangkan tentang methodologi pentafsiran dalam kitab Hidayatul Mutaa’lim. Method yang digunakan adalah analisis dokumen dan temu bual. Hasil kajian ini, mendapati bahawa kitab ini mengandungi ayat-ayat al-Quran yang berkaitan dengan kelebihan ilmu belajar dan mengajar, dan kisah-kisah yang berkaitan dengannya. Kajian ini juga mendapati pengarang merujuk kepada tafsir dalam menjelaskan ayat yang hendak ditafsir dan ayat-ayat lain dalam al-Quran yang mempunyai topik yang sama.

This Paper discusses the Traces of the Quran Commentary Writers of the Ancient and the Recent Period tended to discuss issues around a verse which sometime have to do with the explanation of the writer though the interpretation. This ability has gain insight into what makes the Quran Inimitable through the appreciation of the Quran it self. Synonym is one such figurative expression that occupied a wide potion of argument in the filed of Arabic Linguistic. This Paper answers many questions surrounding the interplay between the Quran Expression and various Arabic dialect, whether it has actually affected the Application in the Quran syntagmatic, in other words did the Quran in its syntagmatic adapt that usage or every grammatical application has his special signification. This and more will be explained and analyzed subjecticaly in this paper and at the conclusion deductions and result will be announced

Tajuk “Metode Menghafal Al-Qur’an Di Malaysia Dan Indonesia: Kajian Perbandingan Diantara Perpensyarahan Tinggi (Literasi Metode di Indonesia)”. Kajian ini dilakukan ke atas 60 orang penghafal yang sedang menuntut di tujuh perpensyarahan tinggi yang menawarkan program sarjana muda dengan tahfizh 30 juzuk. PT yang terlibat iaitu USIM, KUIS, UNIZA, UNISHAM (Malaysia), I-PTIQ, IIQ dan STAI PIQ (Indonesia). Tujuan kajian ini, pertama, untuk melihat perbezaan kemampuan untuk mengingati hafalan al-Qur’an di antara tujuh PT yang mengamalkan motode berbeza; kedua, melihat metode manakah yang lebih berkesan untuk diamalkan dalam proses penghafalan al-Qur’an. Penulis memperkenalkan metode beberapa metode hafalan yang terdapat di Malaysia dan di Indonesia. Bagi menganalisa perbandingan diantara metode yang dipergunakan, penulis melakukan soal selidik dan menguji hafalan al-Qur’an. Data yang diperoleh diproses dengan menggunakan program SPSS (statistical package for social sciences) dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan inferensi. Ujian-t digunakan untuk melihat perbezaan diantara motede yang digunakan, seterusnya mentafsir data dan mencari jawaban kepada empat hipotesis yang diketengahkan dalam kajian ini. Terdapat beberapa metode menghafal al-Qur’an, antaranya, metode Tahfizh Deobandy (India); Metode Tahfizh dari Pakistan; Metode Tahfizh dari Mekah al-Mukarramah (Arab Saudi); Metode Tahfizh dari Indonesia (Indonesia); Metode Tahfizh dari Turki, dan Metode Tahfizh Jibril. Secara keseluruhan kajian menunjukkan tiada sebarang metode yang disebut di atas yang digunapakai secara terprogram di ketiga institusi pengajian tinggi di Indonesia. Metode yang digunapakai tergantung kepada kepakaran masing-masing pensyarah yang mentasmik hafalan al-Qur’an Penghafal.

This research deals with an important problem of the real world problems we are experiencing these days. Many of the soldiers who follow the oppressive rulers and the criminal leaders who dictate the Jews and the Christians claim that they are not guilty of what they do. They only obey orders and execute them in obedience to the duty-bearer. Is this justification will save them something on the Day of Resurrection ? The Qur'an talks about this issue in several loations, and shows the personalities of each of the leaders and their followers to be cautious and avoid them in the Dunya, and between their fate and punishment and fate in Alakhira as well, to know what they will suffer from severe torment and painful, and they are in common. The Quran deals with discussed issue in two ways, accordingly, this research handled the issue based on the two sections. The first is in the field of Quranic stories, the most prominent example of that talk about the soldiers of Pharaoh to show their characters and punishment in the Dunya, and the second way of dialogue between leaders and their followers to show their common destiny in Alakhira. This research answers these questions, and highlights those negative aspects that may contribute to the dealing of this phenomenon, and be a building block in the liberation of Homelands and Human

The Quran is very comprehensive that conveyed messages of various themes where it includes botanical and geological theme. Botany or to be specific plants, in its creation and nature lies many signs of the magnificence of God. The plants from the smallest to the biggest, fruits or not, have many scientific secrets that need more to be discovered. It becomes proof for the believers about the divine wisdoms. Hence, this study focuses on the Quranic verse from Surah Ar-Ra’d verse 4 (13:4). The verse mentions how trees of the neighbouring tracts, watered with the same water can be very differently growth. This study aims to understand the deeper meaning of the verse and the scientific explanation behind it. A library research method is used in this study. All the data and information required for the importance of this study are acquired mostly through reading of the previous writings that were available to the researcher. The researcher has found that even from the same soil, plants can grow differently due to many scientific factors that more focusing to the soil where plants were planted, as the particular verse mentioned about the soil (land). The result also shows that this particular verse is not the only verse that mentions about the sign of God through plants but there are also many other verses from other surah that touch on the same topic. Allah sent down al-Qur’ān to people as a guide. Qur’ān recitation has always been an important aspect of a Muslim’s piety. Currently, the public have started to disseminate information and miracles pertaining to the Qur’ān using websites. The innovation in Qur’ān learning has become an acceptable trend. Furthermore, there are various methodologies of reciting al-Qur’ān found on websites. The Internet phenomenon makes the access to information easier and at the fingertips. This is a new dimension and chance to spread Qur’ānic knowledge globally. Thus, the objective of this paper is to investigate the methodologies of learning al-Qur’ān from five websites, with learning al-Qur’ān on Bayyinah.com as a main sample. This paper applies qualitative methodology involving documentation and descriptive method in the data collection process. Thematic analysis data has been done using atlas.ti software for phrase analysis. The analysis is focused on specific studies that relate to the methodology of learning al-Qur’ān through websites. The review has resulted in seven main themes relating to the methodologies of learning al-Qur’ān on websites, which are Learn Arabic alphabets, Explain with nahw, Explain with Graphics, Explain with Examples, Tutorials, al-Qur’ān Imagery, and al-Qur’ān Dialogue. Learning al-Qur’ān through websites makes the process fun and enjoyable. It is a simple, easy, enjoyable, meaningful, and acceptable process, which also follows the latest trend in society. The innovation process makes the dissemination of the Qur’ānic teaching easier and faster.
