- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

This research employs Richey and Klein's Design and Development Research Approach (DDR). Three phases based on this method were involved in this study. The first phase involved a needs analysis using the interview method with three tahfiz’s teachers to identify the needs of tahfiz students in learning Arabic through the Quran. In this phase, the researcher used the Discrepancy Model by McKillip as a guideline for constructing interview questions. This is followed by constructing an example module of the Arabic language through the Qur'an in the second phase. In this phase, the researcher uses the Fuzzy Delphi method by looking at the agreement of the experts in building the content of the module. Besides, Sidek's Module Development Model was chosen as a model for developing the module. This phase has resulted in a draft of an example module for learning Arabic through the Qur'an that is suitable for Tahfiz school students. The third phase involves evaluating the module's suitability and usability. In this phase, the researcher used the semi-structured interview method as an instrument for data collection, involving five tahfiz teachers. Interview questions were built based on the Discrepancy Evaluation Model by Provus .The findings from the Need Analysis Phase show that there is a need to develop a module for tahfiz students to learn Arabic grammar through the holy verses of the Quran in Sekolah Menengah Agama IMTIAZ, Terengganu. The results of the design and development phases showed that the experts reached an agreement on the elements for the module components that became a guide to the development of the module. The results of the evaluation phase showed a high level of satisfaction among teachers with the elements applied through the module. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2019)Amani NawiThe main objective of this study is to develop Web-based Interactive Activities for learning Arabic collocation (arabCollotivities) and to evaluate this learning activities from a usability perspective. This web-based interactive activity aims to provide Arabic second language students in higher learning institutions a platform for learning collocation and to assist them in learning this topic independently and in a fun way. The theoretical foundation of the study was profoundly based on the theory of Lexical Theory proposed by Lewis, Theory of Multimedia Learning by Mayer, Theory of Learning Events of Gagne and the ASSURE instructional design models provided by Smaldino, Lowther & Russell. This study employed the Design and Developmental Research Approach introduced by Ritchey and Klien. Based on this approach, the study was divided into three phases. The first phase involves the survey of needs analysis conducted on 150 students who are involve in Arabic language courses as compulsory subjects at the Tamhidi Center, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia to see the needs of development these activities in their process of learning Arabic. The data was by descriptive statistics using the software Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 21.0 to find the mean value and standard deviation. In the second phase, Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) technique was exploited which involves 12 panel of experts. This technique was used to design and to determine the essential elements and requirements that should be included in the development of collocation activities based on expert’s opinions and decisions. The third phase was the usability evaluation of prototype activities involving 60 students of Shariah and Law students studying Arabic as the second language at Tamhidi Center, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia using Modified Nominal Group Technique (Modified NGT). The selection of these students is because they were the target group who will use this activity indirectly in their process of learning Arabic. The overall findings from the first phase showed that the students state that there were no exercises and activities related to collocation conducted in the classroom and materials or resources focusing on the learning of Arabic collocation are also very limited. The findings also found that students agreed that they lacked knowledge about collocation in Arabic even though, they realized the importance of this phenomenon. Therefore, study of the development of this web-based activity is required. Findings from the second phase generated the 5 main components and elemets contained therein. The main components included the objectives, content, teaching aids, strategies of information delivery and learning evaluation. Further, the findings from the third phase showed that all major areas of product usability were achieved, and the activity can be implemented after some of modification since the score percentage value of above 70% was accomplished. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication تطبيق تقنية فازي دلفاي في صياغة أهداف تعليم المتلازمات العربية باستخدام الأنشطة التفاعلية الإلكترونية(INSTITUT AGAMA ISLAM NEGERI IAIN CURUP, 2022) ;Amani NawiAsma Abdul RahmanThis study aimed to collect experts’ opinions and consensus towards the objectives of teaching Arabic collocations. A questionnaire distributed to experts was the technique employed to garner the data. 12 professionals participated in this study, and Delphi's Method was used to analyse the data. In recent years, a great number of researchers have focused their emphases on the teaching of collocations to Arabic language learners. This is because multiple studies have shown that mastering collocational words affects one's proficiency in a second language. However, the precise use of Arabic collocation continues to be a substantial hurdle for students, to the point where it indirectly affects their competency to produce language. Additionally, educators lack direction and do not know where to begin. The study's findings demonstrated that all components of teaching objectives; knowledge, skill, and application met the fuzzy Delphi requirements, which called for a value threshold of less than 0.2 with a percentage of the experts’ group above 75%. This demonstrated that the fundamental components in determining the educational objectives contained critical components required by students according to experts’ agreements.
