    Aplikasi Rasm Uthmani Dalam Mashaf Al-quran Braille Malaysia

    The publication of the Braille Quran in Malaysia has undergone several crucial phases. The Malaysian Islamic Association for the Blind (PERTIS) first published it in 1997. After a period of use, issues of inconsistency between the Braille Quran text and the printed Quran text used by the typical population emerged. One of the focus areas of inconsistency was in the aspect of Rasm. In 2022, JAKIM, in collaboration with KDN, PERTIS, and USIM, attempted to address this issue by publishing a new Braille Quran with various improvements and modifications, including from the perspective of Rasm. This study aims to examine the text of the Braille Quran in Malaysia from the aspect of Rasm and identify its status. The method of document analysis is applied in this qualitative study. The findings indicate that the features of the Uthmani script have been implemented appropriately in the Braille writing. However, the Imla'i script writing method is also used when there are constraints and issues in the writing process

    Effectiveness of E-Learning Learning to Improve Student Learning Outcomes at Madrasah Aliyah

    E-learningis a new learning model carried out by the government to support student learning activities during a pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach. Given the total number of students, more than 100 people, the researchers took a sample of 25% of the total population. In this research, systematic data collection uses an interview system to determine the use of e-learning-based learning models. The results of the study show that 1) the learning activities carried out by teachers through e-learning-basedlearning are still considered to be less than optimal, this is evidenced by the results of a questionnaire of 24.5% indicating that students' low interest in learning through the e-learning based model, 2) the calculation of the average value of student learning outcomes or the average value is 89.8. categorized as very good, 3) the results of the discussion that has been submitted show that there is no effect of e-learning-based learning on the learning outcomes of aqidah morals, the results obtained 0.221, where the significant value is smaller than the "r" table, both at the 5% level and at the 1% level.

    Efikasi Kendiri Guru Pendidikan Islam Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Malaysia

    Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau tahap efikasi kendiri (EK) guru Pendidikan Islam (GPI) sekolah menengah kebangsaan di Semenanjung Malaysia. Kajian perbezaan berdasarkan beberapa faktor demografi terpilih seperti jantina dan lokasi sekolah turut dijalankan. Kajian korelasi juga dijalankan bagi menilai hubungan antara EK GPI dengan tempoh pengalaman mengajar. Kajian ini adalah berbentuk tinjauan yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan soal selidik merupakan instrumen utama kajian. Teknik pensampelan kelompok atas kelompok digunakan bagi menentukan sampel kajian. Saiz sampel yang terlibat dalam kajian ini adalah seramai 544 orang GPI yang mewakili populasi seramai 8562 orang GPI di SMK semenanjung Malaysia. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan EK GPI berada pada tahap sangat tinggi (min=4.32). Analisis ANOVA dua hala pula menunjukkan tiadanya perbezaan EK GPI terhadap faktor persekitaran berdasarkan jantina. Analisis Pearson pula menunjukkan terdapatnya korelasi yang lemah dan positif antara tempoh pengalaman mengajar dengan EK (r=0.098). Kajian ini dilihat memberi implikasi kepada polisi dan amalan pengajaran GPI.

    This research is conducted to identify the media-assisted learning aids used by Students with Visual Impairment (SwVI) in learning Qurʾan and the usability of i-TALK PISMEN application among them. There are a variety of Teaching and Learning aids (TLAs) available in the market, but they are limited in adopting and complying with SwVI requirements, especially for Islamic Education subjects. This is because of the lack of studies conducted on Islamic TLAs which subsequently lays the effect towards SwVI in extensively learning the Quran. Therefore, this research focuses on identifying the media-assisted learning aids used by SwVI in learning Quran, analyse the usability of Form 1’s i-TALK PISMEN in terms of content, learnability and technical, and also analysing the usability of Form 1’s i-TALK PISMEN in the aspect of students’ skill mastery. In order to complete this research, qualitative approaches were used, such as interview and observation methods at Sekolah Menengah Penglihatan Khas Setapak. Interviews were conducted with three experts to achieve the first objective and eight SwVIs for the second and third objectives. The findings of this research show the use of i-TALK PISMEN, which is based on multimedia technology, is suitable for both school and self-learning sessions. In addition, teachers must recognise the diverse needs of students and their unique potentials. Before preparing the teaching materials, teachers need to consider the differences in students’ skills, abilities and enthusiasm. Therefore, this research can be useful for the reference of teachers, potential teachers, and educators in the effort to provide the best in their teaching and learning (TnL) process

    Islam menganjurkan prinsip kesederhanaan (Wasaṭiyyaṯ) sebagai satu gaya hidup menyeluruh yang merangkumi setiap aspek kehidupan seorang Muslim. Konsep ini menuntut umat Islam untuk mengekalkan keseimbangan dalam pemikiran dan amalan, serta mengelakkan daripada kecenderungan ekstremisme dalam sebarang bentuk, sama ada dalam dimensi pemahaman mahupun pengamalan agama. Namun demikian, dalam realiti kehidupan kontemporari, umat Islam masih dilihat belum berjaya menghayati dan merealisasikan konsep Wasaṭiyyaṯ secara menyeluruh. Dalam konteks ini, karya Badiuzzaman Said Nursi berjudul Isyārāṯ al-I’jāz menawarkan satu kerangka tafsiran yang signifikan dalam memahami konsep Wasaṭiyyaṯ berdasarkan kepada tafsir al-Qur’an dan bersesuaian dengan pendekatan semasa. Kajian ini bertujuan meneliti pentafsiran ayat ke-6 daripada Surah al-Fātiḥah sebagaimana dihuraikan oleh Nursi, serta menilai bagaimana tafsir tersebut memperjelaskan konsep Wasaṭiyyaṯ dalam kerangka pemikiran Islam yang bersifat moderat. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui kaedah kajian kepustakaan, serta analisis teks terhadap kandungan tafsir dalam Isyārāṯ al-I’jāz. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa penghuraian Nursi terhadap konsep Wasaṭiyyaṯ merupakan suatu usaha pemurnian terhadap kecenderungan ekstrem dan ketidakadilan dalam kehidupan beragama. Dapatan kajian ini mendapati bahawa pentafsiran “jalan yang lurus” (ṣirāṭ al-mustaqīm) dalam Risalah al-Nur merupakan manifestasi langsung kepada konsep Wasaṭiyyaṯ, yang dirumuskan melalui tiga prinsip utama: kebijaksanaan (ḥikmaṯ), kesucian akhlak (‘iffaṯ), dan keberanian (syajā‘aṯ). Nursi menegaskan bahawa ketiga-tiga nilai ini memainkan peranan penting sebagai prinsip keseimbangan dalam mengawal tiga kekuatan utama dalam diri manusia, iaitu kekuatan syahwat (quwwaṯ shahwiyyaṯ), kekuatan emosi (quwwaṯ ghaḍabiyyaṯ), dan kekuatan akal (quwwaṯ ‘aqliyyaṯ), dengan tujuan untuk mencapai kesederhanaan yang hakiki menurut perspektif Islam. Berdasarkan kepada keseluruhan nilai dan prinsip yang dihuraikan, jelas bahawa tafsiran Nursi memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam dan aplikatif terhadap konsep Wasaṭiyyaṯ, serta amat relevan untuk diamalkan dalam kehidupan seorang Muslim yang berusaha menjadi insan yang adil dan seimbang.

    Elderly consider physical limitations as a concrete reason to neglect their other Islamic rituals. This situation occurs due to the lack of awareness to improve their current level of Islamic knowledge, particularly the knowledge of fard al-ayn. In fact, the inappropriate approach of elderly education has also inhibited the spirit of elderly to continue studying .Therefore, a model of an educational program Islamic for elderly based al-Quran on guidelines will be developed to create persistent awareness, knowledge and encouragement for this age group to relearn the teaching of Islam in leisure circumstances as well as according to their own physical and psychological capabilities. But for this writing the researchers focus on the need analysis of that particular model a high quality of Islamic educational model for elderly should be develop. The methodology used in this study was the interview method with five experts comprising those in the field of elderly education and Islamic Education. All experts came to a consensus that, a high-quality Islamic education model for elderly should be developed in order to produce a group of elders, who will spend the last moment of their lives in parallel with Islamic teachings.

    Parents’ Involvement in the Education of Children with Islam Based on Imam Al-ghazali’s Perspective

    Parental involvement in children's education is crucial in any cultural or religious context, including Islam. Education is highly valued in Islam, and parents are considered their children's primary educators and role models. Parents are responsible for imparting religious education to their children. Therefore, this study aims to explain the essential elements of Muslim parenting from the perspective of Al-Ghazali, explore the importance of parents’ involvement in educating Islam, and analyze the effect of the parents' participation on children. This study applied document analysis and interviews as data collection methods. Five parents were interviewed with open-ended questions. As a result, there are three critical elements in parenting, according to Al-Ghazali, namely knowledge acquisition, worshipping Allah, and relation and responsibility towards children. All the participants agree that parents’ involvement in nurturing Islamic education in children is significant besides only focusing on academic education. Some participants' opinions regarding the effect of parents’ involvement in educating Islamic teaching, namely curbing bad influences, good behaviour or akhlak, and clear guidelines for children. This finding potentially creates awareness and offers guidance to parents, encouraging them to enhance their efforts for the well-being of their children and families. It serves as a reminder that when individuals prioritize practising and preserving their faith, Allah, the Almighty, ensures the well-being of the family structure, leading to harmony within the broader community.

    Kekangan akses pendidikan terhadap golongan orang kurang upaya penglihatan OKU dalam mendapatkan Bahan Bantu Mengajar (BBM) untuk sistem pendidikan negara adalah suatu isu yang tidak asing lagi di negara ini. Terutamanya dalam akses BBM Islami, termasuklah mata pelajaran wajib bagi murid-murid yang beragama Islam di negara ini iaitu Pendidikan Islam. Oleh yang demikian, Kajian keperluan ini adalah untuk meninjau keperluan pembangunan Perisian Interaktif Audio Buku Pendidikan Islam Sekolah menengah Kebangsaan (i-TALK PISMEN) bagi Murid Berkeperluan Khas (MBK MaL) Masalah Penglihatan. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan kaedah temu bual terhadap dua orang OKU penglihatan dan seorang guru sekolah pendidikan khas. Selain itu, kajian ini juga menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif dengan pengedaran borang kaji selidik kepada kumpulan murid Tingkatan 1 di Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Terengganu. Oleh itu, kajian mendapati bahawa pembangunan audio buku Pendidikan Islam sangat bermanfaat dan membantu murid berkeperluan khas masalah penglihatan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa pembangunan i-TALK PISMEN adalah sangat diperlukan bagi membantu sesi pengajaran dan pembelajaran (P&P) mata pelajaran Pendidikan Islam KSSM bagi MBK MaL.

    Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti konsep pengurusan emosi keibubapaan anak berkeperluan khas menerusi perspektif Risālah al-Nūr dengan memberi fokus kepada dimensi spiritual dan nilai Islam yang diketengahkan oleh Imām Badi‘uzzamān Sa‘īd Nursī. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kaedah analisis dokumen terhadap kandungan kitab Risālah al-Nūr. Hasil analisis mendapati bahawa pengurusan emosi keibubapaan dapat dibangunkan melalui tiga kerangka utama: tafakkur (refleksi), ta’ammul (cara mengurus emosi), dan istiqāmah (peneguhan). Tafakkur membantu ibu bapa melakukan refleksi rohani dalam memahami hakikat dan hikmah ujian. Ta’ammul melibatkan pengurusan emosi secara reflektif dan penilaian rohani terhadap ujian, manakala istiqāmah menekankan aspek konsistensi dalam memperkukuh keimanan dan kestabilan emosi. Ketiga-tiga komponen ini saling melengkapi sebagai strategi pengurusan emosi yang berpaksikan kerohanian Islam. Diharapkan dapatan kajian ini dapat memberi sumbangan kepada bidang psikologi Islam dan menawarkan perspektif baharu berasaskan Risālah al-Nūr dalam memperkukuh kesejahteraan emosi dan kerohanian keluarga khususnya yang mempunyai anak berkeperluan khas.

    Al-Quran merupakan mukjizat Nabi SAW yang masih kekal sehingga ke hari ini. Kemukjizatan al-Quran dapat diyakini melalui pelbagai aspek termasuklah dari aspek pemberitahuan akan berita yang lepas dan berita yang akan datang, gaya bahasa, penggunaan lafaz dan kedudukan lafaz-lafaz jalalahdalam kedudukan yang sejajar dan lain-alin lagi. Penulisan ini secara umum akan membincangan konsep tawafuq, mukjizat al-Quran, pengenalan kepada Quran Tawafuq, sejarah penulisan, biografi penulis dan beberapa contoh yang terdapat dalam Quran Tawafuq. Manakala fokus perbincangan ialah kepada penemuaan kesejajaran kedudukan lafaz jalalahdalam beberapa tempat pada Quran Tawafuq yang merupakan hasil tulisan tangan oleh Ahmad Husrev Efendi. Sebanyak 2,806 lafaz Allah di dalam al-Quran, kesemuanya datang sama ada pada kedudukan yang selari dari atas ke bawah dalam satu muka surat, ataupun dalam kedudukan bersetentang dengan lafaz Allah di muka surat selepasnya, ataupun pada kedudukan bertindih dengan yang berada di muka surat belakangnya. Lafaz-lafaz Allah ini bersejajar antara satu sama lain dalam satu bentuk yang menakjubkan, yakni dengan sebutan yang khusus ia berada dalam posisi tawafuq. Atas penemuan inilah, al-Quran tersebut diberikan nama Quran Tawafuq.

    Promoting Peaceful Classrooms Through A Spiritual Communication Model For Islamic Schools

    Communication is essential in learning activities. Communication should be the main medium in creating positive emotions in the classroom. Therefore, the learning communication model needs to be continuously developed so that classroom communication becomes effective and has an impact on positive changes in students' behavior. This article aims to develop an Edusufisticcommunication model to create positive emotions in Islamic educational institutions. This paper is a mix of qualitative and quantitative research. Centralized group discussion (FGD) activities, observations, direct interviews, and questionnaires were used with 27 Indonesian participants and 26 Malaysian participants. The results of this study revealed that the image of communication in the classroom is still rigid, unidirectional, resulting in communication. This leaves many emotional problems for teachers and students. Edusufisticcommunication model has been recognized by educators to be able to revitalize the practice of learning communication that has been practiced so far. Edusufisticcommunication brings positive climate and emotions in the classroom, empathic, sympathetic and loving. This study also reveals the emotional impact of the Edusufisticmodel on the peace of mind of educators and students. From the results of the quantitative data analysis, the educators' perceptions show that the implementation of the EdusufisticCommunication Model does not find many obstacles. The results of this study are expected to be a recommendation for policy makers to provide full socialization of the Edusufisticcommunication model for educators at different levels.

    Regulasi Emosi Keibubapaan Anak Kurang Upaya Menurut Islam Ke Arah Memperkasakan Kesukarelawanan Dakwah Bagi Oku

    Ibu bapa yang dikurniakan anak kurang upaya terdedah kepada tekanan yang tinggi berbanding ibu bapa yang mempunyai anak tipikal. Tanpa sokongan dan bantuan yang sistematik dan menyeluruh daripada pihak kerajaan mahupun badan kebajikan, agak sukar bagi ibu bapa ini untuk memberikan asuhan dan penjagaan yang terbaik buat anak istimewa mereka. Berdasarkan kepada modul sedia ada, didapati masih terdapat kelompangan dari aspek regulasi emosi bagi ibu bapa anak kurang upaya. Justeru, penulisan ini akan mengenengahkan perbincangan awal berkaitan regulasi emosi ibu-bapa anak kurang upaya berasaskan panduan Islam bagi pembentukan sebuah keluarga yang sejahtera sekaligus menggalakkan penglibatan mereka dalam kesukarelawan termasuklah dalam aspek pendidikan agama. Penulisan ini mensasarkan beberapa objektif, iaitu: 1- isu dan cabaran keluarga yang dianugerahkan dengan anak kurang upaya, 2- regulasi emosi dan kepentingan dalam menguruskan anak kurang upaya dan 3- strategi regulasi emosi keibubapaan anak kurang upaya menurut Islam. Penulisan ini berasaskan kajian keperpustakaan dengan merujuk artikelartikel jurnal yang membincangan isu dan cabaran terkini yang dihadapi oleh ibu bapa yang memiliki anak kurang upaya. Selain itu, buku-buku berkaitan regulasi emosi dan kepentingannya turut dirujuk. Ayat-ayat al-Quran dan hadis Nabi SAW turut dirujuk bagi mendapatkan panduan Islam berkenaan regulasi emosi terbaik khususnya terkait dengan tekanan emosi yang dihadapi oleh ibu bapa berkenaan. Penulisan ini dilihat amat penting dalam memberikan input dan kemahiran kepada ibu bapa berkenaan strategi regulasi emosi dalam menguruskan anak istimewa. Ia bukan sahaja membantu ibu bapa dalam menguruskan emosi mereka bagi mewujudkan suasana sejahtera dalam keluarga, bahkan sehingga berupaya menggerakkan usaha advokasi dari masa ke masa ke arah membentuk komuniti inklusif melalui pemerkasaan kesukarelawanan dalam kalangan ibu bapa.

    The Remedy To Psychological Issues Among Elderly From The Perspective Of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi

    This paper aims to discuss on the psychological issue among the elderly. Old age is a stage in life that most people fear and are concerned about. The physical, cognitive and psychological deterioration that comes with it often makes the elderly feel depressed, sad, and helpless. This writing try to shield lighten from the work of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi on the remedy of the psychological issues among the elderly. Bediuzzaman Said Nursi provides a fresh perspective to the thinking for the elderly in dealing with their old age in a contented and relaxed state. The remedy by hope offered by him is aimed at providing the source of strength and healing for senior citizens during the later stages of their lives. Using analytical and descriptive method, the results of this study show that the seven elements of hope that Bediuzzaman Said Nursi focused on the capacity to boost faith and to allow senior citizens to appreciate that the joy and sweetness of life based on faith is also an opportunity to worship even towards the end of one’s life.

    In Islam, sex education is the process to educate and disseminating knowledge about aspects related to sexual matters between men and women which needed to be fundamentalized on the concepts of faith and belief to Allah the Almighty who created human and is ever-knowing about the human Himself. In fact, sex education is not a taboo issue in Islam. In addition, sex education is to nurture the appropriate lust and desire which adhere to the teachings of Islam so that it becomes the blessed lust and desire, which give peace and pleasure in life and thus hindering human from adultery which is truly hated by Allah the Almighty. The Quran teaches about human sexuality which has further been explained in Sunnah. This paper discusses the Quranic verses related to human sexuality. Hence, this paper also discusses various topics related to sex education, family values, marriage life, women status and various causes of and prevention related to sexual health problem.

    The role of Islamic education teacher (IET) as society change agent (SCA) requires a strong internal motivation factor. It begins with confidence in self-ability, which is self-efficacy (SE) in implementing the trust given to them. In addition, goal orientation (GO) is also important in ensuring that the effort is successful. The study aims to assess the relationship between SE and GO of IET in Malaysia with the role of SCA in society. This study aims to assess the relationship between SE ITE in Malaysia with the role of SCA in society. This quantitative study has involved 1382 IETs in Malaysia. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling and based on random sample selection. The findings show that the SE level of ITE is at high level. Same goes to the GO, the perception of IET toward their GO is in good level. But the role of IET as SCA is at less satisfactory level. Furthermore, SE and GO have been identified to have significant correlation with IET's role as SCA but was at low and weak level. The implication is, the study finds that the focus should be on restoring IET's mindset about the community's work and developing the ummah, as well as the 21st century teaching and learning (T&L) skills. In fact, IET needs to be given practical exposure to engage in society through NGOs, surau, mosques, da'wah organization and government agencies.
