Publication Amalan Pengajaran Guru Pendidikan Islam Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan MalaysiaPengaruh dualisme dan sekularisme turut memberi kesan kepada sistem pendidikan negara hasil daripada pegangan epistemologi barat yang masih sukar digugat daripada minda dan kepercayaan masyarakat. Hasilnya, kesepaduan ilmu yang dianjurkan dalam Islam sudah semakin dilupakan dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Fokus pengajaran GPI kini lebih tertumpu kepada metode hafalan, syarahan, menyalin nota dan kurang menggalakkan proses berfikir dalam kalangan murid. GPI turut dikesan kurang kreatif dalam penyampaian silibus pengajian, tidak variasi dalam pengurusan kelas, dan kurang capaian ilmu daripada sumber yang pelbagai. Justeru, kertas kerja ini bertujuan untuk melihat tahap amalan pengajaran Guru Pendidikan Islam. Seramai 525 orang guru pendidikan Islam daripada seluruh Semenanjung Malaysia dipilih secara rawak sebagai responden kajian. Teknik pensampelan yang digunakan ialah multistage cluster sampling.Kajian ini merupakan kajian tinjauan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif sebagai data utama. Manakala dapatan kualitatif digunakan untuk memperkayakan dapatan kajian Dapatan kajian menunjukkan tahap amalan pengajaran (M=4.17) GPI berada pada tahap tinggi. Publication Analisis Keperluan Pembangunan Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia Bagi Terminologi Ibadah(Zes Rokman Resources, 2018) ;Siti Ramna Khamaruddin; ; ; ; ; Ibadah wajib dikerjakan oleh setiap individu Muslim yang mukallaf termasuk OKU Pekak. Mereka sewajarnya diberi ruang dan peluang untuk mempelajari Ibadah mengikut kekuatan dan kelainan upaya belajar mereka. Namun, masalah komunikasi merupakan cabaran utama golongan ini dalam pemahaman konteks Ibadah. Objektif kajian ini adalah mengenalpasti keperluan pembangunan Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM) bagi terminologi Ibadah. Metodologi kajian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui protokol temu bual ke atas 10 OKU Pekak Muslim. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan keperluan pembangunan BIM bagi terminologi Ibadah memberi kefahaman yang jelas, membimbing orang pekak ke arah kebaikan, meningkatkan ilmu baharu dan menarik minat belajar. Publication Bloom's Taxonomy and It’s Application in USIM's iNaQ Model(Blue Eyes Intelligence Engineering & Sciences Publication, 2019); ; ; ; ; The integration of religious sciences (Naqli) with social and physical sciences (Aqli) manifests the uniqueness of education system in Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). This model of teaching and learning, known as iNaQ, is however is still incomplete, thus leaving rooms for improvisation. The aspect of a standardised measurement and method of evaluation have become one of the vital impediment that ought to be enhanced. Thus, this study aims to improve the iNaQ model by applying and integrating Bloom's taxonomy of learning that will establish and produce a domain-based learning outcome. The present research utilises a qualitative approach in which textual analysis is applied as the main instruments of examination. The samples used are extracted from related documents. As a result, the application of Bloom's learning taxonomy in USIM's iNaQ Model creates clear learning outcomes for each levels of process. This finding provides a solution to the non-uniformity in the implementation and evaluation of courses in USIM due to the lack of clear iNaQ learning outcomes. Publication Communication Via Explanation Approach For Female Students: A Study On Rasulullah's saw Practices With Special Reference To The Selected Hadiths In Sahih Al-bukhari(PIMM Experts Sdn Bhd, 2017); ;Nurul Hidayatulkolb; ; ;Noor Azma Mohamad Khassim; Communication is a bridge in a relationship (Aisha & Irkhaniza, 2015). A good communication is highly needed in order to ensure that a message can be conveyed with clarity. In the education context, a good communication between a teacher and students will generally influence students’ understanding. Effective communication by teachers will result in students becoming more focused and more interested in what they are going to learn (Nurul Asiah Fasehah, 2015; Nik Rusila Nik Yaacob, 2007; Zalmiza Zakariya, 2004). In the realm of the educational context which involves many female students, the pattern of communication used by a teacher should take this factor into account (Nurhanani Husin 2015). Therefore, the purpose of the current study was to identify the communication approach that is suitable to female students especially in the context of explaining and clarifying by analysing the communication approach of Rasulullah SAW. with his companions as narrated in Hadiths in Sahih Bukhari. This study employed the qualitative approach using content analysis design. Nine hadiths that contain Rasulullah’s SAW. communication with 5 of his kibar companions were contextually analysed in order to extract the themes of communication of Rasulullah SAW. with his companions that are relevant to the current educational context. Several communication approaches that are used in explaining and clarifying had been identified such as direct explanation, providing an analogy in question form, telling in a story form, bringing the audience’s context closer to the story, conveying the intention, detailed explanation, step by step and in stages. This study has implications on classroom instruction particularly Muslim teachers in facing the higher number of female students in today’s classrooms composition using Rasulullah’s SAW. communication with his companions during his time. The use of such approach is suitable considering Rasulullah SAW. as an exemplary figure of all times. Publication Designing Elements Of An Inclusive Teacher Emancipation Model Based On Hadith From The Book Of Riyadhus Solihin: A Fuzzy Delphi Analysis(Hunan University, 2023); ; ; ; ;Noor Azma Mohamad Khassim ;Mahfuzah Mohammed ZabidiNur Syuhaidah Alimar ShidiInclusive teachers find it difficult to handle children with learning disabilities in a normal classroom setting. This is because children with learning disabilities have distinctive learning difficulties, resulting in nearly total dependency on everyone. Therefore, this requires modification and adaptation in the learning activities to ensure effective learning. Consequently, inclusive teachers who do not possess the right worldview about children with learning disabilities and the reality of man in general will affect how they interact with these children or students. Thus, the objective of this research is to develop elements for an emancipation model for inclusive teachers to unlearn and relearn the new perspective of man based on the true worldview derived from hadith in Kitab Riyadhus Solihin (the Book of Riyadhus Solihin). This research used the method of design and a developmental research approach comprising three phases. In this study, the researchers focused on the second phase of Fuzzy Delphi. There were 12 panel experts involved in ranking the elements of the emancipation model for inclusive teachers. Findings showed that all the elements, which are: (1) Reality of Man; (2) The presence of children with learning disabilities signifies the perfection of Allah’s creation; (3) Absolute and temporary ownership; (4) Educational goals; and (5) Inclusive Teacher’s Role, were above 70% that were considered suitable and applicable. Notably, these particular aspects have not yet been the focus of other researchers. Publication Educational Regulation Of Parental Emotions For Children With Special Needs According To Islam(TARBIYAH FACULTY OF UNU SUNAN GIRI BOJONEGORO, INDONESIA, 2022); ; ;Joki Perdani SawaiIn comparison to parents of typically developing children, parents of children with special needs are subject to elevated levels of stress. Without systematic and thorough support and aid from the government or charity groups, it is extremely challenging for these parents to give the finest care and nurture for their exceptional children. On the basis of the current module, it was determined that there is a deficit in the area of emotional regulation for parents of disabled children. For the establishment of a prosperous family, this paper will stress the initial debate regarding the emotional regulation of parents of disadvantaged children based on the Sunnah of the Prophet. Correct emotional regulation is essential for ensuring that parents can manage their emotions in order to prevent incorrect acts while raising children with special needs. This is due to the fact that the majority of incidents of neglect and abuse of children with disabilities are caused by a lack of parental emotional management skills. This article seeks to achieve an amount of objectives, namely: 1. issues and challenges of families with impaired children, 2. emotional regulation and its significance in managing challenged children, and 3. emotional regulation solutions for parenting disabled children in accordance with Islam. This work is based on library research using journal articles that highlight the most recent concerns and challenges experienced by parents with disabled children. In addition, references are made to literature on emotional regulation and its significance. The verses of the Quran and the hadith of the Prophet SAW were also studied in order to acquire Islamic instruction for the most effective emotional regulation, particularly in relation to the emotional strain felt by the worried parents. This article is seen crucial in offering parents with information and skills on emotional regulation tactics for parenting children with special needs. Past studies have shown that exposure to various teaching models and techniques may assist in enhancing students’ interest in learning that results in them excelling their education. Nonetheless, such exposure is not much emphasized by TIe. In addition, educators are also facing with problems in producing effective instruction due to the reason that they do not fully understand their students’ interest and learning style. Teachers’ failure in identifying appropriate learning style will result in students’ becoming disinterested in learning. In order to obtain an effectiveness of the teaching and learning process at the optimal level, TIe must identify students’ learning styles as well as using an appropriate strategy. One of the teaching techniques that teachers can employ is the audio and visual technique. Studies have shown that teachers' self-efficacy (SE) beliefs were examined as determinants of their job satisfaction and students' academic achievement. In addition, studies also found that teaching strategies and techniques is one of the prominent factors that led to high SE of a teacher. Precisely, this study will: 1) identify the using of audio (hearing) and visual (sight) for Excellent Teachers of Islamic Education (ETIe) in teaching subject Ibadah and 2) to analyse the effects of using audio (hearing) and visual (sight) techniques towards the SE of ETIe. This study used a qualitative approach while interview and observation are as the main instruments. This study has also seen to have implications for the policy and practice of teaching among Teachers of Islamic Education TIe. Publication Eksplorasi Pusat Pendidikan Anak Istimewa: Kajian di Beberapa Pusat Terpilih di Kuantan(Academic Inspired Network, 2024) ;Zati Nazifah Abdul Rahim; ; Anak-anak istimewa juga memerlukan pendidikan yang khusus meskipun tidak seperti anak-anak yang normal. Justeru, tertubuhnya Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PDK) yang telah menjadi pusat untuk menyantuni anak-anak istimewa dengan penjagaan dan pendidikan yang terbaik untuk mereka. Sehubungan dengan itu, objektif kajian eksplorasi ini adalah untuk meninjau dan memahami tiga aspek utama iaitu; 1- Program dan pengisian; 2- Sistem sokongan; dan 3- Kemudahan dan infrastruktur di setiap PDK yang terpilih di Kuantan, Pahang. Metodologi penyelidikan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dalam kajian ini dimana data diperoleh melalui temu bual bersama penyelia dan petugas, pemerhatian dan analisis dokumen. Hasil kajian menunjukkan setiap PDK menggunakan pendekatan yang berbeza dalam menyantuni anak-anak istimewa ini, bergantung kepada variasi metod yang digunakan oleh setiap petugas. Namun setiap program dan pengisian masih mengikut garis panduan yang dikuatkuasakan oleh Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) dan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM). Beberapa cadangan penambahbaikan juga dapat dikenalpasti terutamanya daripada aspek kemudahan dan infrastruktur sedia ada yang kurang memuaskan atas faktor kekangan kewangan dan sebagainya. Publication Enhancing Spiritual Inclusion: A Systematic Literature Review on the Intersection of Disabilities and Worship Practices Among People with Disabilities(Universal Publishers - Boca Raton, Florida, USA, 2024); ; ; ; Purpose: This article aims to conduct a comprehensive systematic literature review (SLR) of previous research focused on PWD and worship, with a specific emphasis on understanding, needs, social support and challenges. Design/methodology/approach: The study adopts the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) guidelines to structure the SLR, drawing on this widely used publication standard within the fields of medicine and public health. Prism’s 27-item framework aids in the formulation of precise research questions and facilitates systematic searching and synthesis of studies, thereby minimizing biases. Findings: This study identifies four main themes: understanding, needs, social support and challenges. Research limitations/implications: To find articles and related resources included in this SLR, three main databases, Scopus, and two supporting databases, BASE and Google Scholar, were used. Practical implications: As a result, the theme of the challenge is the aggravation that, if not solved, has a detrimental influence on the disabled, particularly in terms of awareness and financial aid. If referred to, the findings of this study are expected to aid relevant parties in developing policies that are in keeping with the capabilities and requirements of the disabled in assisting them in performing worship more successfully. Publication Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pencapaian Pelajar Berkeperluan Khas (Penglihatan) Dalam Menghafaz Al-Quran: Kajian di Darul Quran, JAKIM(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2016); ; ;Abdul Karim Toure ;Abdul Muhaimin Ahmad ;Mohd Nur Adzam RasdiDiploma in Tahfiz Da'wah wa al-Quran at Darul Quran JAKIM is specially offered to the Visually Impaired Persons (VIP). This program provides an opportunity for them to compete equally with normal people in memorizing and understanding the Holy Quran. This paper is part of the research findings are being conducted between the Faculty of Quran and Sunnah, USIM and JAKIM. The main objective of this paper is to identify several factors that influence visually impaired student achievement in this program, especially in interaction with Braille Quran. Instruments used for this study are protocol interviews and observations on the course Tahfiz al-Quran course. In addition, Crawford and Godbey's model (1997) is used to describe the factors that influence student achievement in the study OKUMP Tahfiz al-Quran. The findings showed that there are several factors that influence the achievement of these students to memorize the Quran. It is based on structural factors, interpersonal and intrapersonal factors as featured in Crawford and Godbey model. Publication Fostering Sustainable Service For Disabled Communities Through Youth Volunteerism: An Analysis Of Key Characteristics Using Fuzzy Delphi Methodology(Universal Publishers - Boca Raton, Florida, USA, 2024); ; ; ; ; ; Nik Ahmad Farid Nik ShaberyPurpose: Services for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) not only involve physical needs, but educational services, particularly in the area of religious education. This includes the study of the Quran and fardhu ain, which are crucial for PWD who practice Islam. However, special needs and specific methods must be considered to ensure that Islamic education can be effectively conveyed, whether by individuals or volunteer organizations. Since outreach efforts for PWD require a lot of manpower and specific skills, this study takes the approach that there is a need for youth volunteers who can provide services to PWD. While there are various types of volunteer organizations available, there are not many that focus on outreach efforts for PWD in Malaysia. This has led to a lack of understanding and appreciation of Islam among the PWD community. Therefore, the objective of this study is to foster sustainable services for the PWD community through youth volunteers by analyzing the key characteristics of volunteers using Fuzzy Delphi. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses a design method and a developmental research approach that has three phases. In this study, the researchers focused on the second phase of Fuzzy Delphi. 13 experts were involved in this study to rank the elements in developing a model for volunteer outreach efforts for PWD. Findings: The findings showed that all elements such as thinking, attitude, and skills, exceeded 70%, which is considered suitable, applicable and a must to the volunteers for PWD. Research limitations/implications: This research involves volunteers among typical person who service PWD. For future, it hopes research might be conducted among PWD who involve in volunteering service. Practical implications: These finding can be a reference to any development of training module for volunteers service especially which focusing on PWD. It is hoped that this findings could be as a guide for youth volunteers in teaching religious education for the PWD community. Publication Fuzzy Delphi Method Application In Developing Of Syllabus Quranic Class For Elderly(Universal Publishers - Boca Raton, Florida, USA, 2024); ; ; Purpose: The purpose this article is to develop syllabus Quranic class for elderly. Design/methodology/approach: To achieve this purpose, the Fuzzy Delphi method was employed in this study. A questionnaire was distributed to 15 experts to obtain consensus. Findings: The findings reveal that the experts' consensus on the curriculum of the Quranic class for the elderly includes the following points: (1) Starting with Surah al-Fatihah, (2) Beginning with easy surahs that are commonly known, (3) Ensuring the teacher has mastered the syllabus, (4) Delivering the syllabus that is appropriate in terms of timing, location, and target students, (5) Prioritizing the practicality of tajwid over memorizing the names of the rules for the average level, (6) Beginning with correcting the makhraj and tajwid, (7) Emphasizing correct makhraj articulation and tajwid rules in Quranic recitation, (8) Starting with Iqra, (9) Ensuring the syllabus is appropriate for the elderly's cognitive, physical, and psychological capabilities. Research limitations/implications: The findings from this study have significant implications for the elderly, educational institutions, policymakers, and community leaders in designing curriculum interventions that promote the well-being of elderly individuals through Quranic studies. Practical Implication: The present study provides valuable insight to teacher that teach the elderly and also institute that organize the class for the elderly. Sejarah menyaksikan terdapat ramai sahabat yang telah menghafaz al-Quran. Perkara ini jelas apabila Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. menerima wahyu baginda akan mengajarkannya kepada para sahabat. Pendekatan pengajaran al-Quran dilakukan pada masa baginda secara hafazan yang telah diaplikasikan oleh Malaikat Jibrail di dalam mengajar al-Quran kepada Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. Terdapat pelbagai hadis berkaitan kelebihan mendampingi al-Quran. Justeru kajian ini bertujuan untuk menerokai keutamaan mendampingi al-Quran dan kelebihannya. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kualitatif. Bentuk kajian adalah analisis tematik dan analisis kandungan untuk mengumpul data serta menganalisis hadis berkaitan kelebihan mendampingi al-Quran. Hasil kajian mendapati terdapat banyak hadis yang membicarakan tentang kelebihan mendampingi al-Quran. Kajian ini hanya membentangkan 10 buah hadis yang diambil daripada Sahih Bukhari, Muslim. Halim Tamuri; ; ; ; This study embarks from the great and huge responsibility of teachers nowadays especially the IRT (Islamic religious teachers). As the role model of students, they play an important task especially in producing the good Muslim character. Therefore, their job not only focuses on the content of subject but becomes wider in scope, more than other teachers in molding a human. For this, the mind faculty plays an important role. Many studies have proved that people's belief and how they perceive themselves can influence their personality and make them be a center of attention. The past research findings have shown that teachers need to have the PSC (positive self-concept) to help them become a successful role model and produce the great Muslim character in the future. Thus, this study seeks to look at the need of PSC in IRT as a role model. This study is a conceptual paper which is based on the analysis of document method. The paper will discuss the role of IRT, the PSC and the needs for teachers, and the influence of teachers' PSC on students' behaviour. Due to current scenario of social ills, the IRT responsibility of educating and molding the good character of Muslim students becomes much more challenging. Publication The Importance of Self-Efficacy : A Need For Islamic Teachers as Murabbi(Elsevier Science Bv, 2012); ;Tamuri, A; ; ; ; This research is commencing from the role and huge responsibility held by the teachers especially those teaching the Islamic Education. These Islamic Education Teachers (IET) are not only responsible to teach the content of the subject but also are burdened with the responsibility to educate students. Therefore, these teachers not only function as mu'allim or mudarris (teachers) but as murabbi who educate with the rabbani approach where Allah s. w. t is the key reference. Executing this heavy responsibility will definitely need a form of inner confidence or belief in self ability and effort known as self-efficacy (SE), which is a personal belief on the ability to teach and educate in consistent with the Islamic Education Philosophy (IEP). This view is supported by Abd Ghafar Mahmud (2011) that the task of 52, 641 IET not only to teach, but to educate and guide students to ensure they have excellent knowledge and personal excellence. This is to ensure that when they are in the real world, the effect of environmental changes does not damage the nature of the students' life. Education is also a missionary; IET requires a greater sense of responsibility to the students and with integrity in their work. This means that the IET cannot deny their role as murabbi. Thus, thi reseacrh aimed to look at the needs of SE in an IET as a murabbi. : This paper is a conceptual in nature. Basically this research applies document analysis method. Among the issues discussed in this working paper are the needs and role of IET as murabbi, the concept of SE, teachers SE in teaching, the importance of SE to the role of IET as murabbi. Looking at the current scenario of adolescent behavior, it is clear that the role of IET in educating and molding an individual of academic excellence and character in this world and the hereafter is more challenging than ever. This heavy responsibility as murabbi should be carried out by teachers by appreciating the concept. Murabbi require a strong preparation of teachers mentally and physically. Publication Inovasi Produk Bagi OKU Pekak Untuk Memahami Terminologi Agama Islam(Asian Scholars Network (ASNet), 2023) ;Siti Ramna Khamaruddin; Bahasa isyarat merupakan bahasa visual yang digunakan sebagai medium komunikasi bagi OKU Pekak. Penggunaan bahasa isyarat memudahkan komunikasi dan memberi peluang kepada mereka untuk meluahkan rasa, pendapat, idea, perasaan dan sebagainya. Di Malaysia, Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM) merupakan bahasa ibunda bagi OKU Pekak yang telah diangkat sebagai bahasa rasmi dalam Akta OKU 2008. Bagaimanapun, perkembangan inovasi bagi OKU Pekak untuk memahami terminologi agama Islam jauh berbeza dengan inovasi terminologi agama Islam yang sedia ada. Meskipun demikian, pelbagai inovasi yang dijalankan bagi memberi peluang OKU Pekak untuk memahami terminologi agama. Justeru, artikel ini bertujuan menerangkan inovasi yang dibangunkan oleh pelbagai pihak termasuk pihak sekolah, badan persatuan bukan kerajaan, institusi pengajian dan institusi agama dalam menerangkan terminologi agama Islam kepada OKU Pekak dari 1998 sehingga 2022. Kajian ini dijalankan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis dokumen terhadap cetakan buku isyarat dan aplikasi isyarat yang telah dibangunkan. Dapatan menunjukkan pelbagai inovasi yang dilakukan dalam membangunkan bahan bantu mengajar bagi mengisi kelompangan OKU Pekak untuk memahami terminologi agama. Perubahan inovasi boleh dilihat dari segi bentuk cetakan buku kepada bentuk mudah alih dengan berbantukan aplikasi. Bhd., 2022) ;Nik Ahmad Farid Nik Shabery; Dakwah Islam termasuklah pendidikan al-Quran tidak dapat dinafikan kepentingan dan peranannya dalam pembangunan ummah. Justeru itu, dakwah Islam perlu diberi perhatian dan fokus yang sewajarnya dalam perkembangan pendidikan anak-anak bagi memastikan ia mampu memberi impak yang terbaik dalam proses pembinaan ummah. Dakwah Islam yang sebenar perlu disediakan kepada setiap lapisan masyarakat tidak terkecuali kepada golongan orang kelainan upaya (OKU) pelbagai jenis kategori. Golongan ini berhak mendapat nikmat Islam kerana Islam tidak hanya terkhusus kepada individu sempurna pancaindera sahaja. Namun demikian, keperluan khusus serta kaedah tertentu perlu diambil kira sewajarnya oleh para pendakwah agar dakwah Islam dapat disampaikan dengan baik dan berkesan. Oleh itu, objektif utama kajian ini ialah menganalisis isu dan cabaran dakwah kepada komuniti OKU. Metode kajian ini ialah kajian kualitatif yang menggunapakai reka bentuk analisis kandungan berpandukan tinjauan literatur sistematik sebagai landasan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat beberapa isu dan cabaran dakwah kepada golongan OKU yang perlu dihadapi oleh para pendakwah dan pihak yang terlibat dengan komuniti OKU. Publication Keberkesanan Kaedah Tahfiz Akhyar dalam Meningkatkan Tahap Penguasaan Hafazan Quran bagi Remaja PekakMemorizing is a way of preserving the sanctity and purity of the holy verses of the Quran. Based on observations, in Malaysia especially many people who memorize the Quran consist of a typical community, even there is no specific method for the disabled community especially the deaf community for memorizing Quran. Hence, this article aims to study the effectiveness of Tahfiz Akhyar method in order to increase the level of Quran memorization for deaf youths through the Deaf Youth Huffaz Camp which lasted for 5 days 4 nights at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and involving 19 deaf youths as a study participant. This study uses a mixed approach through observation method and final test as instrument tool. The findings of the study show that the Tahfiz Akhyar method can help improve the memorization level of some of the common surah. The achievements of the study participants varied according to their tendency, ability and level of hearing. The implication is that the Deaf Youth Huffaz Camp will continue in the future with the support of various parties.16 63
